  1. Someone on eBay USA is selling a refurbished one for $999
  2. Exactly and I'm in the same boat. Just forked out for and engine too so gutted when the box was grinding.
  3. Seen one on eBay with a claimed mileage of 40k ish for £500
  4. Ok so I have fitted a ne OE crank Sensor today and it has sorted the revs jumping at 5000rpm. There is also a lot more power now. I also scanned the abs unit too and found the steering angle sensor was 387` When the wheels were straight. So I took the steering knuckle off and turned the steering wheel until the angle became 0ish. Took me a few Gos to get it right. But now I have no lights on the dash. Just a crunchie gearbox. It does improve if you change gear abnormally slow. Does anyone have an idea. Is it definitely the syncros.
  5. Right the codes are P0335 crank sensor C1130 engine signal C1143 St ang Sen circuit
  6. Managed to get the bumper and other stuff on I needed too. So I went up the road and I got an engine light, esp and abs lights. Also the revs counter went mental after 5k but actual revs didn't real fluctuate. And it crunches in nearly every gear. I'm starting to think that this wasn't just an engine issue. Will scan it and post the codes
  7. Can put the bumper on tomorrow' now, bleed the coolant and check for any problems. May even make it on the road.
  8. Just been back out too it. I've only bloody put the coil packs on 4&6 back to front. Classic. After all the work schoolboy error. Chuffed though it finally roars.
  9. Yeah I'll check MAF tomorrow. I got 2 injectors off eBay because the coils and plugs didn't make and difference. I'm getting a little lost with it. I might swap injectors 3&5 with 4&6 tomorrow.
  10. Used a friends consult 3. We used it to shut off cylinders one by one and 4&6 really didn't change note when shut off. I think it's probably running on 4 cylinders at the mo.
  11. Compression tested all and were equal. Haven't looked at MAF didn't think it would create a misfire. Do they on zs
  12. Swapped number 4&6 injectors today. Still got a misfire. Gutted. Swapped coil packs around and new plugs but still missing. Fault p0300 multi cylinder misfire. It seems to pop and fire out of the exhaust until I disconnect number 4 coil. Then the revs don't change much but the popping stops. Anyone have any ideas.
  13. Got the front panel and headlights on today Alternator and air con belts A few other pipes and things I needed to do. Just waiting for 2x injectors to come ( please tomorrow) And a drivers seat adjustment switch (only found on eBay USA)
