Last family holiday this year as my boy is 18 in August. Nice apartment booked in Barcelona close to the stadium. He loves barca fc plus my old dear lives a couple of minutes drive away. Looking forward to improving the Z on those long lazy summer afternoons. I can't stand the winter and my mood lifts with every extra minute of daylight :)

- 2 wk holiday in Dubai.....my body is in desperate need of a tan :)

- Driving to France in the summer, overnight stop off in Paris (bit nervous about that part of the drive) then down to a cottage (with pool) in La Rochelle :)

- more daylight, hate running in the dark

- winning the netball league (well, we won the first game so have high hopes)

- my boss retiring.... She drives me nuts and makes me want to kill her most days!

Mr Twobears is in Madrid so I went swimming this morning and the sheer mindless ploughing up and down the pool got me thinking about things I want to do so I've been naughty and spent some money on fun stuff. I have no willpower

On Thursday I've booked a lesson at Bisley and a week on Saturday I've booked a hotel near Leeds Castle so we can both have a day out at the castle and, even better, go round the grounds on Segways :teeth: Oh, and I ordered a skeet vest too because it was a bargain  I hope Mr Twobears doesn't confiscate my credit cards when he gets home

What's everyone else looking forward to?

I got married at Leeds Castle. Decided to do it in the Gunnery as it was much nicer than the Castle and has suits or armour, swords, shields etc. Seemed more medieval and fitting :)

Im looking forward to retirement so hopefully I can actually get time to myself to enjoy all my hobbies & interests which I used to enjoy before I got married. Unfortunately by the time I retire in 30 years time I dont think i`ll be able to do motorcycle racing, bodybuilding, shooting, finishing my project car, or many of the active type things I used to enjoy as my body will be getting too old by then. :(

Still the hope is there. Shame I will have to wait 30 years.

Don't be too pessimistic rabbitstew. I am old, not retirement age admittedly, but I still ride my horse and shooting isn't age dependent so I hope to do it for years to come. I'm sure you will still have a bit of life left in you in 30 years :)

had 2 years of drama with my leaking garage roof am being moved within 28 days to my new chosen location (opposite my house  )with a higher roof and more space as its the end garage! Once moved the Supercharge build will really get into the swing of things so cant wait!

20 months of dealing with customer services then one email from my work email (happens to be a premiership club) to CEO and sorted within half an hour

Should of pulled that card out earlier

Nope. You would have thought that when you live with someone or get married that you would end up with much more spare time as all the cooking/cleaning/housework etc is now shared. So not only can you carry on with your hobbies and interests etc you also have more free time to maybe do stuff together etc.

However in my case the opposite has happened. I end up doing all the housework, cooking, cleaning, ironing, washing, feeding and cleaning out all the pets (not my pets I hasten to add), as well as any DIY, gardening & home improvements. So rather than gain more time, I actually have far less time than when I was single, to the extend that all my hobbies/interests have been put on hold and my entire life revolves around housework & my full time job. I am lucky if I get 1 hour a week to do anything outside of that, then I am faced with the dilemma as to what do I do in that 1 hour. Usually that 1 hour is spent washing the car once every 2 or 3 weeks (used to wash & polish it every weekend), or as I did this weekend that 1 hour of "free" time was spent painting the garden fence. Hardly relaxing "me" time. 2 months back I decided to spent my 1 hour free time to start watching The Expendibles 3. I still havent found the time to watch the remaining 67 minutes of it. :(

Hopefully you will be lucky!

Sounds like a nightmare Rabbit :(

I still go to the gym (couldn't live without it!) and play computer games on occasion, and tinker on the Zed, however we still do our share of the housework, I cook, and hoover/dust, take the bins out, my wife washes and cleans the kitchen for example. We split things and share responsibilities - I look after the finances, and she's good at chasing up suppliers and organising events/trips etc.. teamwork.

Sounds like you're really unhappy :( How long have you been married?
