grahamc Posted November 13, 2017 Author Posted November 13, 2017 She runs....... overfuelling slightly, but she runs! Waiting on front windscreen and dash repair, but mostly back together now After that I need to sort out the seats.... Quote
Mondo 300 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I'd love to be able to buy a 240Zand restore it. Absolutely beautiful cars! And this one is looking like no exception! 1 Quote
grahamc Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Ok, so the car is road going just need to sort out some suspension for the car..... needs to be a good road setup but height adjustable 2 Quote
leonk Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Very nice indeed Graham! When you say "road going" is that all running, mot and driving? 1 Quote
grahamc Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 Yes all running! Seats need some attention but that is it! They are just just waiting for the new suspension to arrive Quote
Keyser Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Awesome Looks great if a little high at the moment. Very nice mate! 1 Quote
Toon Chris Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Lots of work and looking good but stretched tyres ? Quote
grahamc Posted September 14, 2018 Author Posted September 14, 2018 Time for that update The car is technically finished, MOT'd, all rust is gone, paint work is AWESOME! However, the front suspension, the seats and the doorcards are still issues. As some will know, the car is supposed to be sold due to a split with my ex. However, I am very very tempted to keep it! I love the look of the car, it is exactly how I want it. What would be the guess at value of the car? Original UK RHD car, 3+ years of restoration 5 speed 1 Quote
Stutopia Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I’d say it’s worth 500 but as your selling for unhappy reasons, i’ll give you a grand. Quote
Kev Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I have no idea. Id be very tempted though. I love that car. Quote
G1en Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 You cannot sell that! no idea of value but if you have to sell it as part of the split then you could always sell it cheap to a “friend” then buy it back later. And i would be willing to be the “friend” you need to broker this deal in these harsh times 1 Quote
grahamc Posted September 28, 2018 Author Posted September 28, 2018 Hahaa - many thanks! We are discussing it, so there may well be a deal on the table shortly. Quote

EzeePzee Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 Wow that is a lovely car! I’ve been looking at 240zs recently, bit of a pipe dream really. You’ve got a good one there, keep it! Quote
snowy87 Posted September 29, 2018 Posted September 29, 2018 This takes me back. I had a Datsun 260Z +2 in 1979. I paid £850 for it. Gorgeous car. I bought it as a blue rust bucket, rebuilt it as a black (with fibre glass front wings and valance) stunner. I also replaced the straight 6 engine for a non smoky version. I sold it in 1981 for about £3200. How I wish I had kept it. I would think, at todays prices that your car would be worth around £25k - £30K, maybe more. Hopefully you can keep hold of it and enjoy it for a while. Quote
