WINKJ Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Looks great... I am not a fan of the 'paint the engine plastics the body colour' ... BUT, that is the exception, looks a top mark job to me!!! But then what do I know 😂 1 Quote

Mopedmark Posted November 17, 2014 Author Posted November 17, 2014 Update, I picked up some Lambo door hinges from Greg at Tradelink for a ridiculously low price so here's a couple of pics, Plenty of room to get in once there up Practicality wise, they could do with opening slightly wider to be honest for general day to day use but for shows it looks good when there up so we can live with it.No pain no gain as they say, 1 Quote
GMballistic Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Pretty bonkers seeing a Zed with those Lambos doors, ...I mean the more I look at it the more I think it looks good. Like a Transformer mid way through transforming or something. 1 Quote
Mopedmark Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 A little update Zedders, I got some new wheel nuts for starters Last week I decided to re paint my kick plates which turned out nice again So I went to the Ace Cafe day yesterday, we won best engine bay which I was very pleased with, thanks to everyone that voted for us, So today I thought I will revamp the interior again so here she is now I managed to get it all out painted and back in, 8 Quote
Mopedmark Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 Hi again Zedders I thought it was about time that I updated this as I have done a lot of changes over the course of the year so here goes. After the Ace Cafe in April I came home and re painted the centre consul as the pics above, as well as the rear strut I then set about a few more little changes under the bonnet that were niggling me, I reprinted the battery/ fluid covers, this now makes the 350 and the Z that are cut into them stand out more but it keeps a little more to the theme with the flashed in purple, I also did the same with the original strut feet, Quote
Mopedmark Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 Next up it was the wheels, so after a lot of thought I decided to start the long winded process, not going to go into the how's and whatnot but I basically painted the wheels Gunmetal and then painted the centre part Blade Silver as per the car and then flashed the paint upwards slightly to give a very different looking wheel but you have to look to see it. I then went back inside the car and tackled the main centre of the car consul, so I did this to match the other centre piece 1 Quote
Sargara Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I then went back inside the car and tackled the main centre of the car consul, so I did this to match the other centre piece Those discs have seen better days! Do you not drive the thing? Quote
Mopedmark Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) The next part is for major changes to her, first up was getting the Amuse front bumper on that I had had in the shed for nearly a year so it was off to the body shop along with a rear spoiler that I had purchased over a year ago, Lots of work to get it prepped right, I also had the centre painted a different colour, It came out really well with the Gunmetal centre mouth along with the side accents with ally mesh I picked up from Bn Q, Love them or hate them I picked up this Neo Chrome towing eye rom Miami, which matches the wheel nuts, Or yer I also fitted a Bulge bonnet that I picked up from Stourbridge Nissan, they delivered it for free as they passed my house on deliveries most days and the did it me for only £265 they discounted it by £40 very nice people indeed haven't got a pick of the bonnet as its always up I made myself a new gear knob as well you can see this on the pic So after wheel colour change, bonnet, bumper spoiler and loads of little bits and bobs I decided to buy an Air ride kit, I wanted the best I could get so I settled for what is called V2 management, this is an all singing all dancing fully adjustable kit. So, after many £s lighter I returned home with goodies, I only just got all the boxes in the Zed, My plan was to take four days off work and do a leg each day and then everything else on the weekend, which is what I did. The kit included 2x front legs 2x rears, compressor, air tank, V2 management system and wiring loom, all connections etc, full detailed instructions, so basically I had the car up on axle stands all around, I took my time and it all worked out in the end so the car now have a lovely fully adjustable Airlift kit fitted. Up and down, This is a recent picy from the Ace Here is how she looks now, big transformation And it didn't end there , with all the stuff for the Airlift in the boot I had to do a boot build so myself and Mrs Moped, got to work and came up with this So that's how she looks at the minute Edited November 7, 2015 by Mopedmark 9 Quote
