Anti-Virus recommendations

currently using Norton Internet Security which has a month left to run

 

are there any recommendations for better performing, less intrusive and less system hungry internet protections ?

Always use kaspersky internet security on all my PC's, buy last years or even 2 years ago product, download the latest trial version from their website then use the serial key in the box to activate 12 months :)

 

2012 3 user version £17 approx or 2014 £34 approx :)

searching through torrent sites for kindle books :wacko: !!!!

 

but, doesn't explain why the wrinklies pc's I'd installed it on started getting various infections - usually anti-virus pro :surrender:

Norton and macafee are awful, resource hogging and not very good.

 

Please don't waste your hard earned in those.

 

As has been said go for a recommended free AV such as avast or avg ( the latter was good but I found wasn't as effective after the first year or so) and malware bytes or other spyware:malware protection. All free and very effective.
