Had exactly the same problem couple of weeks back had a garage check the compression arms (banana arms) up in the air on a ramp and could not get any play in either. Following advice on here I purchased 2 from ZMANALEX with new cones and bushes, had them fitted by TDI North in Warrington all absolutely perfect now

Do you know if the ticking tappet weakness was rectified - does the HR have any known weaknesses? No weaknesses that I am aware off, as posted earlier Nissan ironed out all the niggles with the HR313. My 313 is quiet and smooth as silk at 46K Ive had the UPREV done by TDI North and a Scorpion rear exhaust sys.

Stick it out and wait for the right HR mate, the engine refinements are worth it.

I drive a Roadster 313 HR and went for a Scorpion exhaust, just the right amount off noise for me. As others have said nice (ish) day roof down and turn the sounds off and listen to that noise from the exhaust as you accelerate through the gears. The heating system and heated seats mean you get get the roof down on Autumn days and still enjoy it. Theres also the pose factor Sitting at the lights on a hot day and operte the roof down, it looks the bollox.

And you can fit a set off Golf Clubs in a Roadster

The uprev makes the car far more driveable IMHO so its a good thing to get done. You will certainly notice a difference. (and I didnt shout)

That carnuba wax he mentions in the video also comes in a product called Showroom Shine. Use it on my cars all the time, they say its a no wash polish but i wouldnt risk it, good wash and dry then a good dose off showroom shine.

I have the scorpion back box and i think the balance is just right. Give it some beanz and thd 350z orchestra comes to life. I did not want anything to loud as i have awful memories of driving to london in a friends car, 1275gt mini with big bore exhaust, my head is still resonating now

I have a 313hr on an 07 plate. Personally i would hang on s little more that little extra refinements the 313 engine gives is well worth it. Yes thats the correct position for the heated seat switches
