Is the Oil pressure guage on a Zed a proper one ?? like a pressure valve and decent gauge or is it just for looks ?? I know the MX5's oil pressure guage is just for looks and although it gives a reading it is by no means accurate.

I play MP3's from my S3 through a Parrot Blue Tooth and the sound is really good, big improvement over the standard BOSE Radio/CD. So I imagine the speakers are OK its just the head unit thats a bit naff.

Oooooh same as the one I just got, mines got a bit more milage, 27000K on an 07 plate. Cant beat a convertible on a nice day especially a Zed as you sit there listening to the exhaust. Who needs a stereo Welcome mate

Welcome mate, I hung on for a good while before finding the right car, dont worry about the VED hike, spread over 12 months its hardly a difference, latest model you can afford will give you the latest specs so its worth considering. Azure is a nice colour reminds me of my winning blue MX5.

Most engine management units when they start flashing puts the whole system into 'limp mode' it knows theres a problem so just gives you enough power to get it off a motorway or get you home could be the reason why its down to 7 MPG.

Just under the bonnet yesterday checking levels and I noticed the coolant expansion tank at the front of the engine says 'COOLANT REFRIGERANT ' while I don't need to top it up or anything I just wondered is it the standard water/antifreeze mix or something else ? Ta Dave

Hello 350z peeps, I have a mate at work who is in the the Toyota Supra Club and he and some of his mates are having a meet in N Wales on Sat 06 July. They are staying over and he has asked me to join them for a run on Sunday AM, meeting at the Ponderossa for a run down to Caernarfon Airport and then wherever else. There will be a few different cars there and it would be great to see a sprinkling of Zed's I have also posted this on the Tiger Club site (one off my previous rides) so should be a few Tiggers present also. Meet will be at the Ponderossa at 10AM for brekkie. Anyone fancy it Dave

After lurking on here for 3 and 1/2 years, I have now purchased a low mileage 2007 350z 313 roadster, what can I say, awesome machine, my daily drive has been an MX5 2.0 for the past 3 years and as good as it is/was the Nissan is just on another level. Just want to say thanks to the many posters on here who have furnished me with enough information on the Z for me to look for the right car. Cheers Dave

Thanks guys for the info, I did forget about the front and rear tyres being different. Yes the MX5 is very nimble and should not be compared really. Think I need to test drive one or two more and get a better idea Once again thanks for all the info.

Hi all, I have just been looking at a particular 2007 350z GT with a view to purchasing, its at a dealers who seems quite reputable but something is making me twitchy about the car. for a start its got 24K miles but both front tyres have been replaced with brand new ones, I can understand that maybe the rears and fronts could have been swapped at some time, especially if someone likes the sound of squeeling rubber LOL, but 24000 miles and new tyres doesnt seem right ???? Secondly, they had the battery disconected, and it was connected for me to take a test drive, while it sounded absolutely beautifull I felt like there was no real oooomph there, cant explain it really, I was thinking that with the battery being off the ecu may have been in limp mode and would need to do a few miles to completley remap itself ?? is that feasible ? Lastly the interior was to be honest a little tat, the centre glovebox lid was all scratched around the handle and I noticed lots of little scratches and nicks on the inside drivers door handle is this common ? I currently drive a 2006 MX5 which to be honest looks like its just come out of the factory even with 47000 miles on it. I was a little suprised that a 07 24k 350z would look like this ??? Dave
