Very easy to do mate - the most difficult bit is making sure the wires have made good contact with the connections! This was the issue I had first time round where I'd actually connected all the correct wires up but because the contacts weren't making a good connection it didn't work. cs2000 Posted April 5, 2016 Share Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) Just thought id say guys, I bought one of these second hand (but never fitted) from BountyBarKid and fitted it tonight, it took about 20 mins and works brilliantly. The only issue I have is now the mirror switch does the opposite, of what it used too, but I guess that means I have connected two wires the wrong way round, grey and purple maybe?? Il sort this when I next do some work on the car. Secondly, if anyone wants one of these fitted in Essex/Suffolk/Norfolk area and wants to travel to me then il help out. Actually just found my post, apparently I didn't figure it out,I must have just got used to it working the wrong way round Haha yeah, I did re-read the wiring instructions and was like "well, ive wired it right..." so I deduced the instructions must be wrong. Sorted it via trial and error but iirc, it was the first 2 leads you connect that were reversed in the instructions (grey and white possibly, cant remember), I just switched the bullet connectors and bob was indeed my uncle! Such a simple thing, but I do love this mod. Props to Flyboy for designing such a well engineered item too. It really does look and feel like an off the shelf item.
