  1. Morning all, Does anyone know where these can be bought? I can't seem to find them on Ebay or anyone on this site selling them? Thanks
  2. Could anyone help me with this purple wire, is it behind the speaker that's covered by a plastic cover. they are shooting towards the back of the door? thanks
  3. Manage to do this today but now I have a judder right at the end before I come to a complete stop. Doesn't happen if I slowly brake to a statement stop. Everything was brand new?
  4. Ha yes it will be a small metal file and probably about 3 hours labour. Haven't even done the other side yet. Can't get the retainig bar out yet. Any advice for that. Even with the calliper off, pads out the way and grips I can't move it yet. Letting it soak in wd 40 for the night.
  5. Ah ok thanks. Maybe it's a remove and grind the pad down a touch job.
  6. So it's this top thing with the little bend in it. This ones really dirty but it was the other side that's the problem which I cleaned up to a shine so it's not rust and crap getting in the way.
  7. Hey. I tried to change my front pads and discs today. Everything was going fine until I tried to put the new pads in. The pads are brembos ones so should fit fine. The outer pad fits in perfectly and moves with the calliper but the inside pad seems like it's too big. This is the actual metal frame on the pad, it just seems too long so it's such a tight squeeze to get it in the right place. When it's in it doesn't sit all the way back against the Pistons so when all bolt up the wheels are too tight against it to turn. The problem seems to be the little silver clips that are in the actual calliper. They are held in with a small Allan head bolt. I think they are there to stop the pad from moving up and down too much. But with my pads they just seem to be in the way. Are you meant to remove these with some pads? All it would need would be for the pad to be maybe 2mm shorter for it to fit perfectly. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.
  8. Insurance have agreed. But there isn't a piece in this country. I have to wait a month for a delivery from Japan...
  9. Cool, thanks. I will see if my insurance will do it.
  10. Hi, this has happened to me last night, whats the best way to go about it? Autoglass or should I go to a dealer? Does anyone know how much they are new? Thanks
  11. What's the pure i20 used for? Is it just an iPod dock?
  12. That might be the solution, I could try get a stronger one off ebay or something. Is there any chace of damaging the internals of the phone with a magnet?
  13. Magnets, they're not fixed to the back of the pad tray yet only as I want to bed down all the major work first. Basically glue a strip of magnets at the back and it won't move an inch. Glad this is providing inspiration to others. Okay so it takes a lot of work and you could pay someone a heap of cash, but this is so much more rewarding. Any magnets in particular? I thought of that by buying an ipad mini case with the magnetic strip for the front cover in the hope of using that, but it doesnt attract to the phone, maybe iphones are made of different material?
  14. how are you planning on keeping the ipad in the mount? I tried this with my Iphone 6+ but didnt get very far, I may give it another bash over the christmas with this guide to help.
  15. I've just realised who you are. Your Kirsty's brother. She was in my form in primary school.
  16. That's cool, that's why I was getting confused with the remastered bit. I'll take this if you send me payment details.
