"Mary Anne" by The Shadows in 1965

and this was about 50 years before any downloads were available! I was 9 in 1965.

In 1967 I bought "See Emily Play" by Pink Floyd - I guess this one might be worth a bit now, but it was played over and over on an old Dansette record player . . .

When I was about 12 I bought my first 12"

"Hey You" by THE ROCK STEADY CREW

I aspired to being a breakdancer but only managed to injure myself numerous times whilst looking ridiculous!

first CD i bought was Bitty Mclean -Tease me Legendary!!

Bitty Mclean didn't do that song. That was Chacka demus and Pliers!

Bitty did "It keeps raining".

Both awful songs which I love :)

Think the first single I remember having was "Mahna Mahna / Ma-Na - Ma-Na" or however you spell it by the Muppets, think that was about 1977 but that was bought for me.

First 'proper' singles I bought were Hot Water - Level 42 and 19 - Paul Hardcastle :)
