  1. I was always led to believe that keeping it garaged made your insurance slightly more expensive? Reason being in a garage it gives the thief more of a opportunity at getting into the vehicle. I maybe be wrong but worth asking.
  2. I’ve just spoken to my local Nissan dealer and they do have a recall placed, but the thing is I wouldn't have got a letter as on the Nissan System the car is registered to the guy it was first registered to, so its just as well I rang really. Anyway shes booked in for the lock on the 17th, and they reckon this will only take a hr or so
  3. Fingers crossed we get a recall on this

    automatics

You were doing nothing wrong. The autos seem to change gear at approx 3000 rpm if you just driving normally. If you want to use the paddles then use them at any point and they will stay in manual mode for a good few seconds before dropping back into auto mode. Also if you want to get out of manual mode as soon as possible then just keep one of the paddles pulled in (approx 3 secs) to go straight back to auto mode. When driving on a m-way or dual carriage way and you need to over take you can also drop down a couple of gears with the paddle shift instantly or just plant your foot down and hit the kick down button.
  5. same issue here, give it a good slam and its all fine
  6. I think its just a fancy orange light that shines down onto the gear stick area...looks kinda nice in the dark. I had these on the boxster I owned before but they were also on the door handles Irs for people who forget where they left there gear stick
  7. Should be Friday for me as well, but i decided to take from tomorrow off, then I can just chill and play Halo 4

  10. Hey Bubbagross - I found a better way to route the camera loom from the boot to the rear parcel shelf behind the drivers seat in the Roadster (without having to mess with the hood folding malarkey.... you can actually 'bash' the cable straight through (if you know where to run it!).... Steve-r - you can get the harness / loom for the 370z from here (USA - Brian / bdl99) http://www.carkitcom...ackup-camera-ho Thanks for the link
  11. ok thanks for the info, I just wasnt sure if when taking apart the OEM head unit that there would be some RCA jacks to plug the camera into. I bought one similar and it did not work with head unit Steve, so ended up going for the Kenwood one. Its more money but I knew it worked as other had also used the same camera.... jacks are not so much the problem, but the loom switches power to the camera when selecting reverse and automatically selects the right input for the camera image, so it all happens automatically ........ the picture quality is excellent. and its got the night vision. and the cam has not frosted up like the cheaper one i had in the 350. better to spend the extra money IMHO Im going to be looking into getting the Kenwood camera soon, all I need now is find the loom
  12. I feel for you , I know what its like to have some scrote riffle through your personal belongings....its not just the car loss but the knowledge your castle has been invaded
