Clown Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Just a reminder that Top Gear is back on at 8pm! I know they've sort of gone off on a tangent these days, but I still find it entertaining for the most part. The Christmas special was a new level of pants though. http://transmission.blogs.topgear.com/2 ... 18is-back/ Quote
Chris AME Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Entertaining but clarkson can be a b**lend at times Quote
AK350Z Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Will watch anyway, just in case it turns out to be awesome Quote
Chris AME Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 It could turn out to be awesome read the preview in top gear magazine Quote
spursmaddave Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 It could turn out to be awesome read the preview in top gear magazine Then again it could be the same old jokes dusted off again I genuinely hope not Quote

brillomaster Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 The first episode of the february series is always a good one - its always the summer roadtrip one. This time, Supercars through Italy, even if the jokes are old the cars and scenery will be stunning! Looking forward to it in an hour and a half! Quote
choptop Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Always love Top Gear. Think they have lost their way a bit over the last couple of years but still a cracking show. Saw Richard Hammond on Total Wipeout and he really does not look well Quote
TomS Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Bah, only just realised it's on, missed the first 10 minutes, anything good? Quote
Will370z Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 My cousin saw the three of them in abergavenny going in and out of shops on mobility scooters, i expect that will be on an up and coming episode soon Quote
DoogyRev Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 I want that Lambo ..... anyway back to reality Quote
Chris AME Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Bless the noble munching it's clutch And mmmm lambo Quote
BACON Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Guess what I'm going to do tomorrow??? Attempt to drive to work in my new cocoon sleeping bag!!! Got to make my Monday morning drive to work more interesting! Quote
geoff-r Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Good episode I thought, thoroughly enjoyed it! Quote
Stew Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I enjoyed it too. Last nights was just about right for anyone (car geeks to soap lovers) to enjoy. The problem is in the past it's been too far each way. Quote
TomS Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Decent episode last night, the lambo is just I never think of Top Gear being a car enthusiasts programme as the missus will happily watch it with me and she doesn't really care much for cars! Quote
John tarantula Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 good episode though I'd rather have the Noble than the Lambo! I like smaller turbo cars! Quote
rtbiscuit Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 i'd be happy with all 3, but i am drawn to the noble, if i had to rank them on which i'd buy first if i think it would be the lambo then the noble, then the maclaren, but to be hoenst i think i'd be happy with any of them. but the noble is nice and i've always loved lambo's so those 2 are both winners in my eyes if only i had a very large pay packet like some kind of banker Quote
rothers2901 Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Got to say realy enjoyed this episode. TG seemed to have lost it's way in previous episodes and i know that this was another road trip but some of the scenes made me chuckle and what cars to start off with. Loved the Knoble. Quote
