Pic of recent bundle of fur. Just got him yesterday....and wife says he is still finding his way around (and staying out the way of the bigger one). Still a kitten, but signs point towards him being a chunky monkey...

....(green demon eyes are optional)

GIZMO COOKIE MONSTER is his offical name!!!Other cat is OLLY POLLY PAWS!!!

Yep, my wife is also a mad cat woman.

Obviously I will not be shouting out the door for them....neighbours will think i'm nuts.

Ah Pete - they are cuties - if we had a bigger house we'd have as many as we could afford to feed and look after :teeth:

I don't have a big house, it's actually quite small but I am surrounded by fields or waste land on three sides and my garden is fairly large aound an acre. On the 4th side about 50 yards away there is a busy road but the cats never go near it, I guess the noise frightens them away. I also have no problems with neighbours...my nearest one is a good 400 yards away and there are only 2 other houses within 3/4 of a mile.

Pete

Sounds like a dream situation - whenever I look at new houses the first thing that rules it in or out is if it is in a relatively quiet location so the cats can get out and about - I suppose its just a choice us catty folk make. ;)

Here's our girl on her walk this morning (iPhone pic). She wanted to go through the woodsa different way than I planned.

Unfortunately she got spooked by something 10 minutes later so we didn't make it through to Dukes drive.

Heres my little devils! We got them from the rspca and loved them eversince. Some cruel person left them on a lay-by on the motorway and drove off. We saved them and theyve never been happier! Meet millie and snuffle (he was named snuffle at the rspca as he had a snuffly nose all the time)

Meet Arfur...

Strictly speaking not mine, but my son's - although we looked after him for ages when my son moved out. In the end, when we moved house recently we gave him to a good home. So, no, we don't have any reptiles - even the family of a dozen blue tailed skinks that disappeared under the floorboards when their vivarium door was left ajar are in the old house.

Been a couple of months since anyone has posted and I thought it was about time I have an update on Hetti.

She will be 1 at the end of December, you can see her training is all starting to click with her with the exception of recall. She's brilliant until there are distractions and no matter how much food you have she heads for the distraction.

She is still very demanding when she sees someone or another dog to go and say hello but she's far too bouncy. Most people are fine about it and love the fact she gets so excited to say hello but we are trying to discourage her anyway we can.

She's been on a a diet the last couple of months and is almost ideal now (she piled on the weight after being neutered)

She's so much part of our life now and she dictates the home schedule

Anyway here is a picture from the other day when she was waiting for her mum to come home

Kudos to you and everyone else who gives neglected animals a home. I saw a horrible picture the other day of a dog in Romania that had had part of of its jaw hacked off because the media there whipped up a frenzy after a child was mauled by a dog. There's so much cruelty to animals. It really makes me smile when I see people giving unwanted pets a loving home. We currently have two cats and five bunnies - all rescue :)

that is one wrinkly dog....................reminds me of a certain mod on here :stir::surrender:

When I read that, I read it as that's one 'WINKY' dog. Looked through my pics again to see where she was winking

Working from home this morning and popped downstairs to make a cuppa and this greeted me at the bottom of the stairs snoring away.... She's always liked to sleep half in her bed half on the floor.
