jamez87 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) So, although I have them for sale I thought I'd test fit the linea wheels now I've got the spigot rings. No spacers needed for the linea' and I had 25mm all round on the rays. What do we think? Edited August 5, 2016 by jamez87 Quote
valy Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 If I were to chose between these two I would go for the rays (just my view) Quote
Andy_Muxlow Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I quite like the linea' wheels. Sent from my iPhone using hammer and chisel! Quote
jamez87 Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 See I'm just not sure...so opinions welcome. I wanted to change the OEM look. I was going to go for rota grid drift alloys but that's the obvious choice really. Quote
davey_83 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) Linea for me but in gloss black, really nice looking wheel I think Edited August 5, 2016 by davey_83 Quote
coldel Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Linea with polished lip and darker black would look great Quote
Ekona Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Rays. Or the Lineas in a much brighter contrasting colour, like orange or green. Quote
Stuggerz Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) I would usually go with aftermarket wheels... but the rays look so good. Also I think the quality of the image with the rays on makes them look a lot better. Edited August 5, 2016 by Stuggerz Quote
jamez87 Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 Also I think the quality of the image with the rays on makes them look a lot better. I agree with that...I think the angle makes them look better then they are 1 Quote
KyleR Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 The photo with the Ray's is post edit and of course a much better picture, that's why they look better than the camera phone pic with the Dyna's. The Dyna's are a great looking wheel and in 19" are much better looking than OEM Rays Quote
GMballistic Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 The Rays are fantastic alloys ~ look great & are very light weight but personally I'd want something a little less OEM on it if it was my Zed. The Linea alloys you have do look good imo but as some others have said maybe in a different colour. Chrome black maybe. Quote
jamez87 Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 I was thinking a shadow chrome.... To be fair the picture doesn't do the colour justice, there's nice metallic flakes in the paint that really pop in the sun light. Quote
Ekona Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Trouble is, the car is such a boring colour that it needs something to lift it. Front lip helps, as would bright centre caps + roof wrap + skirts + spoiler. All IMHO, of course. 1 Quote
