andy118 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 hey! Just thought I would drop by and say hi to you guys! Picked up a JDM 350z at weekend! my friends have said that the fairlady is 250bhp, however looking in the net it's the same spec as uk, 286? Anyways that's my whip 😄 Quote
Virage Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I think your JDM is, if anything, a little more powerful than the UK models - I seem to remember the ECU being responsible for the loss of around 10bhp on UK cars. From new yours would have had 286bhp as you correctly say! Disclaimer: I'm just as new as you and all of the above may well be wrong, although I'm sure someone wiser will let you know shortly! Quote
jimmy.farrow7 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Welcome along buddy, will have to get some pictures to show us. I have a 2005 Fairlady Z and from new it was 276bhp. In terms of bhp of Zed i believe you can get 276bhp, 296 bhp and 313bhp. Quote
andy118 Posted August 31, 2015 Author Posted August 31, 2015 hey all finally got around to getting a pic this Is her Tried replacing the standard gear nob yesterday, it wouldn't unscrew, it just kept sping around, any idea how to get it off lol http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm142/cheekos118/rfgrgr/F0CCBB97-1D67-4A12-95E3-3A78EE627F52_zpsgbq5yyia.png Quote

veilside z Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Nice car buddy. Welcome along. To remove the Gear Knob, hold the shaft lower down below the gaiter with a pair of mole grips, so as you don't mark the exposed shaft, then twist knob anti clockwise. Quote
andy118 Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 Hey would anyone know the paint code? I cannot check as it's in Japanese haha Quote
GMballistic Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Belated welcome aboard. Your old Audi looked good, ...some money & hard work gone into that by the looks of it. Quote
