  1. I have got all that you will need matey Alex.
  2. You would be absolutely bonkers to authorise this repair and risk being hit with a hefty bill. If they have asked Nissan U.K. for permission to remove the box then this permission should be immanent. Why not leave the car with them pending warranty authorisation and take advantage of one of there courtesy cars. I am only up in Perth and would only be to happy to diagnose the issues for you but that wont change the fact the the Nissan garage will still require authorisation from Nissan U.K. to remove the box as this is Nissan standard procedure. Alex.
  3. You require the kit to install the spacer. You have pm.
  4. The gearbox issues will be fixed under warranty. Nissan are well aware of such gearbox faults. Be assertive but polite.
  5. Is it likely to have caused any damage to the disk? Will I be ok driving it if that's the case? I'm a bit worried about making things worse It will be fine to just drive back to the garage.
  6. Suspect that the back plate may now be touching the disc. Back to the garage for rectification.
  7. Nah! leave them to it until they make a decision. They might give you a now gearbox so just wait and see No point in upsetting them at the moment
  8. Do not authorise the proposed repairs. Wait for the warranty process to take its course. Cowboys
  9. The later cars have a clutch slave issue which gets sorted under recall warranty. Gearbox out jobby.

+1 You really must check your oil level on a weekly basis and the "twats" at the dealers are not to blame. Potentially a very expensive mistake.
