As Ian has said very easy to trim a small hole in the mesh that I supply. The mesh is made of aluminium and it is soft, so easy to trim out a tow hook opening. Using a pair of small snips will result in a very tidy job indeed. Alex.

Agree with what he said. Get a second opinion. Abbey will be able to give you an informed diagnoses without stripping 4 hours labour is insufficient time to remove motor, strip and inspect crank anyway. Alex.

Best to get all four wheels off for a closer inspection, Sounds like one of the pads that you can't see may be down to the metal.

If you took out an HP agreement on the car then contact the HP company immediately as they own the car and not you and they will start the ball moving for you. If you paid cash or a bank loan then that course of action would be fruitless. Also report to your local Trading Standards first thing in the morning.

No, all fluid levels that could move when you brake. That is just for starters mate as it is a process of elimination so best to do the easy and cheap ones first. Next stage would be to pull the fault codes.
