  1. IMHO the new Do Luck air filter is a winner. I was talking to Andy Barnes from Sumo power at the Knockhill D1 and Time Attack event the other week and he was extremely enthusiastic about it. Prior to the Do Luck coming on the scene my favourite filter was JR followed by K & N and then Cosworth. Alex

The oil filters for the VQ35DE are all the same, just make sure you stick with a known brand. I personally prefer the genuine Nissan oem oil filter. Alex.

Opie oils will be your best bet.
  7. Chris, I can't answer your question but is the Stillen G3 not a universal kit which will fit G37, 370Z and the 2008 up 350Z. I have fitted two kits to the 2008 350Z with no issues but can't remember if there was an extra breather pipe or not.
  8. I would think that GPS is 100% accurate.

Could the Sensors be connected to their correct plugs but put into the wrong sides? ( IE Left Sensor in Right CAT and Right sensor into left CAT?) If so would that create a Fault? Only if you cross them over, but you would see that if you take a look, but I doubt if you would have enough length to do what you suggest. You would have to be a real muppet to do that. The green and the blue male ends of the sensors are are clipped onto a metal "bridge" which bolts onto the gearbox. What sides have you got the blue and green sensors going to?

  15. Good spot Neil. Yeah Chadwick indeed did sell up. I checked the car over for him recently and it was decided that he would be best to move it on. Think he has a Civic type R now doesn't he.
  16. Yeah he did Mike but he missed my last driver's side one by 5 minutes More due in soon hopefully. Alex.

  18. No stats. guys, just fuses, relays, IPDM etc. But you can take a direct feed/earth to the fan motors to check if they are working but you require 2 earths and 2 feeds to each motor to check the twin speed function. Alex.
  19. Yes mate, that is exactly what I was trying to say in my previous post.
  20. Andy, Motor failure, fuse failure, relay failure, bad connections on looms etc. are all possibilities. If you let me have your email addy I will send you over a schematics of the system and the process for checking the motors in situ. Remember the motors are twin speed and have 2 earths and 2 feeds to each motor. Alex.
  21. Maybe one of these. viewtopic.php?f=38&t=31548
  22. The Fidanza fly comes with two fitment options. On the end of the crank there is a small dowell pin. On the inside of the Fidanza fly there are two small holes. One hole is marked front and the other is marked rear. What this means is that front wheel drive cars like Maxima or Altima the dowell pin locates to the hole marked front and the rear wheel drive cars like 350Z, G35, G37 the dowell pin locates to the hole marked rear. Get this wrong and the car will not start as the timing will be "out". If this is the case then the only remedy is to pull the box and fit the fly properly. I have no 1st hand knowledge of the American F1 fly that you fitted but I would assume that there would be similar fitment options. Hope this helps. Alex.
  23. What year is your car and what type of fly did you fit? Alex.
