  1. Good point. Did you manually lift the pedal back up to its normal position?. If it is totally flapping about then pull the gator from the bell housing and have a look inside to see the fork and ball end.
  2. Good luck with all that, however I think I know what is coming next. Alex.
  3. The 35 dash interior retains the character of the previous 32,33,34 Skylines, so we have a bit of nostalgia continuity. Agree it is a bit dated, but it is what it is. Never been a fan of the premium addition seats and door trims however the Recarro edition seats are better, however I went for the track edition as IMHO the interior is much more pleasing to the eye. Each to there own thou. Alex.
  4. DE slave is easy to change as it is bolted to the outside of the gearbox and this is where you bleed it from. Your issue is usually caused by boiling fluid due to the heat off the front of the exhaust, so not unusual for there to be no fluid leaks. Bleeding is tricky so this is why I recommend that you swop out the slave and line when doing the fluid so you only have to hopefully bleed once. Upgrade to high temperature fluid and a braided line. New stock slave will be fine. Alex
  5. to the forum. Others will be along shortly to provide the links for answers to your questions, subjects that have been discussed many times before. Alex.
  6. Box out if you have an HR. If so, best to upgrade the CSC when the box is out.
  7. The master is a bit tricky to do but not difficult. New fluid on its own may help, however best to swop out the slave, line and fluid and give it a proper bleed making sure ALL the air is out. Alex.
  8. Nearly missed this, car just back from Abbey last week, so it would be rude not to add to the list. Alex. 1. 9. What ever you have in the garage, or if you have to buy then any leading brand will do the job.
  10. 6 in stock in Perth but unfortunately not really local to you. I am sure there must be loads in Southampton.
  11. You can not just use that on its own, it has to be followed up by some form of refinishing polish.
  12. Depends what G3 product you were using. ie: If you were using Farecla G3 Ultra abrasive compound then this should be followed with G3 fine refinishing compound and then finally G3 finish gloss enhancer. However, I would now just try a good quality polish on the area that you are referring to. Alex.
  13. Hi Adam. Welcome back stranger and good to see that you still have a pulse mate. All at KRC miss you. Alex.
  14. to the forum. Just down the road in Perth Just a heads up, best to use proper fuel in your 350. I prefer 99 or Shell V Power.
  15. Pre owned Intake valve timing control units for bank 2 are in stock and good to go same/next day if required. Alex.
  16. If push comes to shove, the bonnet release cable is situated at the top and behind the R/H/F arch liner. Giving it a gentle tug with some one pressing on the bonnet nib should release the bonnet to access the battery.
  17. I am not conversant with the legislation in England but in Scotland a landlord has to register with there local council which costs £65.00. It is basically to appertain if you are a fit and proper person to be a Landlord.
  18. Have you bed the new pads in to the old rotors?
  19. Remember and register with your local council and also take out Landlord's Insurance. Electrical and Gas certificates are also required. Vet your potential tenants carefully and lodge there deposit with the appropriate authority. Solicitors tend to recommend a 6 month lease, however I have a tenant on a 5 year lease, but this may not suit every one. Alex.
  20. Anti squeal shims and proper grease will fix your issue.
  21. Looking good, however surprised that you are not upgrading the sway bars which would make a huge difference to the handling. Alex.

Ah right. 1st issue was a "homer" which went wrong by a tech who used to work there, so probably not worth mentioning to David Noble. 2nd issue: Hardly ideal, but that is parts people for you. If you prefer not to confront David Noble then speak to Darren King the R35 service manager and again tell him that I sent you. Alex.
  23. Place a piece of measured wood between the top suspension turret and the ball joint. Jack car up from the lower suspension which in turn will jam the wood and stop the BJ from spinning. Has worked for me over 100 times using this method with the aid of a Snap On impact gun. Alex.

Shame about Nobles which surprises me greatly. They are very approachable and I have found their after sale to be exceptional. Pay them a visit and speak face to face with David Noble (Dealer Principle NHPC) explaining your concerns (past and present) and tell him that I sent you. I don't know what your previous issues were, however, David will give you the reassurances that you need so that you are comfortable leaving your pride and joy with them. They will also fit parts that I supply, so there should also be substantial savings to be made there. Let me know how it goes. Alex.
