What a lot of gearbox scaremongering bollocks. One of my mottos. You don't have a problem until you have a problem. However, if you are unfortunate enough to be one of the less than 1% to have a gearbox issue, the boxes are easy and reasonably cheap to overhaul. A fully working known pre owned CD009 is also a viable option. Can't believe that I am still reading this thread.

3 words: To much information.

My 2005 DE is still on its original gearbox and has been used predominantly on track for 10 years. 666 bhp at the wheels and 560 lbs ft. So no drama here. Alex.

As it will be bespoke, the anchor points will have to be decided on by you and your fabricator. Also you will have to decide whether to weld or bolt in. I have a an image on my desktop so PM me over your email addy and I will ping the picture over.

Roadsters already have roll over hoops fitted. Or are you looking for a complete single roll over bar. If so they can be fabricated to fit under the rag top.

If it is a DE that you have then a fluid change, braided line and slave cyl should fix your issue permanently.

If you don't have a clue then you should not be tampering with brakes. The spring and pin assembly is what holds the hand brake shoes to the back plate and the other spring is to return the shoes to there starting position.
