Depends what G3 product you were using. ie: If you were using Farecla G3 Ultra abrasive compound then this should be followed with G3 fine refinishing compound and then finally G3 finish gloss enhancer. If push comes to shove, the bonnet release cable is situated at the top and behind the R/H/F arch liner. Giving it a gentle tug with some one pressing on the bonnet nib should release the bonnet to access the battery.

Place a piece of measured wood between the top suspension turret and the ball joint. Jack car up from the lower suspension which in turn will jam the wood and stop the BJ from spinning. Has worked for me over 100 times using this method with the aid of a Snap On impact gun. Alex.
