  1. I believe that the 370 torque is 98 ft-lb. Best nip mine up a touch then !! Might be a plan. 80 is less than your wheel nut torque.
  2. You should have got a written quote before instructing the job and if you didn't, then you only have your self to blame so I guess that you may just have to suck it up. £200.00 is the going rate for a clutch and fly swop out, so circa 4 X £50.00. Alex.
  3. I believe that the 370 torque is 98 ft-lb.
  4. Ewen, I know at least three guys in here who had the Whiteline droplinks, some from yourselves, others from ZManAlex, some rusted or corroded badly, in one case they've snapped. Lots of reviews on US forums also don't rate them very well do a quick search here: http://my350z.com/forum Adrian, I have never sold the Whiteline drop links. The only links that I sold were genuine Nissan OEM or PowerGrid adjustables. Alex.
  5. 114 ft-lb is not exceptionally tight for the thickness of the bolts. The reason that it appears to be is because you are not getting in the correct position to apply the torque.
  6. 152.1 - 154.9 N·m (15.6 - 15.7 kg-m, 113 - 114 ft - lb) are the correct torque numbers for Brembo front caliper bolts.
  7. Nice one, Now let's have a vid.
  8. I will have all the parts in stock to repair your issues, however best to get some images up here so an informed decision can be made on what parts you actually do require. It would also be a plan to check that the stud holes in the wheels are not elongated and also that the tyre wall (inner and outer) is not damaged. Plenty pre owned wheels, tyres, spacers, hubs, nuts and studs etc. in stock. Alex.
  9. It is up to the garage to "tint" the paint to get a perfect match. I am very surprised that they let the car out with such a colour mismatch.
  10. Every day is a school day, however I will continue to use J matic until the jury returns.
  11. Either way works mate. I can turn this round in 5 hours, however I am in Perthshire.
  12. Unfortunately yes mate, shipping of body panels is a mare.
  13. Oh I thought J matic had been upgraded to S. Like I say I've read so much info that conflicts. So just to confirm Alex, although it does not require changing, if it ever needed topping up it would be J matic? Thanks I would have to check mate as I am not aware of J Matic being upgraded to S Matic. Any One ?
  14. It is J matic that you require not S matic.
  15. That's good news thought I may have to change it at some point. Fill your boots mate as the fluid is circa £200.00
  16. No, there are different abs blocks however the same principle applies. Copper Kunifer is good and very easy to work with. I have done around half a dozen of these with no issues. Vosa has never been an issue
  17. What ^^^^^ marzman has said. Then report back. FYI the auto box in the G35 Skyline is the same as the VQ35DE. I have 2 in stock at the moment, however I doubt very much that you have an issue where the box will have to be swopped out. Also the fluid is meant to be fluid for life. Alex.
  18. Descale the W brace and rustproof or buy new from Nissan for circa £200.00
