  1. Why would you want to lever it down. When the bush fails the arm usually drops and rests on the lower sub frame resulting in a knock. The car is safe to drive in its present state.
  2. Very easy to change, however when the bush fails, the arm usually drops down and rests on the lower frame.
  3. Nah, if you are quick you can stuff a couple of rags into each opening once you pull the hose which will stem the loss of coolant. Carry this out when the coolant is cold.
  4. I am not quite following what you say in your original post. I would definitely drop the car and try driving it to establish if you really do have a problem. Nothing else was damaged when we had the prop issues. What dif are you running ?
  5. You should not experience any oil loss, however the cover will be tight on the dowels. The hose is coolant.
  6. In your first post are all your experiences with the car off the ground ? If so what happens when you try to drive it on the road ?
  7. The VTC cover could be partially removed to facilitate the removal of the solenoid, however I would just disconnect the hose.
  8. Common issue, just replace with new.
  9. More common than you think; This guy: Broke 3 prop shafts when drifting my Sumo Power 350Z:
  10. Quite a common issue and pointless replacing like for like as there is a flaw in the OEM CSC. Best to replace the CSC with an upgraded unit and perhaps consider replacing the clutch and fly as well (after market) or at least remove and inspect to reach an informed decision.
  11. All in stock, just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  12. Sounds like you are all good to go.
  13. Just a heads up, if you bought Sam's fuel dampers then you will have an issue connecting the fuel line to the R/H damper as it is sweated on. The R/H fuel damper and the plastic fuel line comes as a one piece, so you really should be looking for a R/H damper complete with plastic fuel line as you can not take a chance of this leaking fuel which would drop onto the cat.
  14. If using the company in your link, then Stormforce is the one to go for if your Roadster is to be left outside. However make sure that the car is totally clean and bone dry, particularly the fabric roof before fitting the cover. Also park in a sheltered area otherwise you will get wind damage to the paintwork.
  15. If the cat is blocked then why not just fit a cheap pair of decats and if you are concerned about it leaning out then just get an up rev tune.
  16. Well, Knockhill had a full open pit lane today from 10 am - 5pm. I could not manage the morning session so just rocked up in glorious sunshine at around 1 pm for the afternoon session blissfully unaware that the heavens had been open all morning and that there had been a serious oil drop due to a blown motor at around 11am so the track was closed and an early lunch break was called for, so really did not miss a trick early doors. So got the R35 ready and immediately switched into R mode with the Suspension, Gearbox and Traction. Into map 99 and 2bar boost and we were all good to go. A few warm up laps and all looking good. There was a good mix of fast road cars including a couple of other R35s, however with the final day of the SMRC this weekend and all to play for, the big boys were all out in abundance for there testing in preparation for competing for the championship. All in all a brilliant afternoons fun and bar a couple of Full Race Radicals I think that I did the Nissan image no harm at all as no one else really got close. Conditions were spot on today and the ambient temp and track temp really did suit the GT-R and after checking my data, my previously PB with the R-35 on MPSS was 58.05, however, smashed that today with a 57.65 and that was with holiday man 16 stone Dougie on board. I am well chuffed as I did not think that a sub 58 would be possible with an R-35. at KRC. Any one who has not had a track day experience, I would recommend that you give it a go, perhaps in moderation initially as it really does become addictive. Have fun and drive safely. Alex.,
