  1. Nice one matey: OP: DE or HR ?
  2. Luke, Check your PAS fluid.
  3. Go with Omar at A1 Jap spares, he is a decent guy and will honour any warranty issues. Don't know any thing about Nippon. Avoid the drive in drive out establishments.
  4. Fitting heavy duty springs to the pop ups will fix the initial release and thereafter either the SGS uprated struts or ask SGS to do a bespoke for you.
  5. PM received. I am fresh out as well. Try Ewen at CMS.
  6. Nice one mate: PM received and replied to.
  7. Yes, but the DE gaskets are a different shape and the DE also does not have the same failure rate as the HR.
  8. 1.5 litres of oil over 220 miles, I would definitely be expecting to see excess emissions whilst driving, especially with decats. Sorry, fresh out of pre owned DE cats at the moment.
  9. Have you ruled out valve stem seals and/or valve guides ?
  10. Yeah. lower sump off, to access the 2 front bolts and then front cover off. Set up your timing marks as per the workshop manual and lock the engine, then pull the chains to get access to the galley gasket covers. Make sure that you fit the uprated gaskets.
  11. Plenty in stock Hodaka, just drop me a pm if I can help further. I also have the 10 mm self tappers with floating washers in stock. Alex.
  12. As above ^^^^^ Give Ewen a shout at CMS and he will talk you through the options which best suit your needs.
  13. Reconditioned this head for my own Cossie, however, fortunately it was not required. Combustion Chamber Machined to 50.4cc (4WD specification) Valve Seats in Brico LXW 35/D-HT Exhaust Valve Guides in Brico Sintered Composite MXP28 (Cu filled) Valves, Springs, Collets and Retainers not included. Please note, advertised elsewhere.
  14. If the rings have gone then you will more than likely find that the piston ring glands will be damaged as well, which will mean new pistons. So if you replace the pistons and rings and hone out the bores, fit new main bearings and big end bearings, together with a gasket set. etc etc etc.then you will be well North of £1500.00. You will have to strip the motor to fully assess the damage.
  15. Due to the design of the bearing and the length of the shaft there will be movement. Good engineering practise to swop out all bearings.
  16. . What's a full geometry? A full geometry is checking and adjusting the front and rear toe, camber, and castor (castor front only)
  17. I think that most twin turbo engine builders would disagree.
  18. Minimum requirement when the box is stripped would be both syncros and all bearings.
  19. Go back to the garage that fitted them. Did you get a full geometry done after bushing replacement ?
  20. For my 350 TT, I use Motul Competition 15W50 300V for road and track. For heavy track use I use Motul Competition 20W60 300V Le Mans.
