  1. As above ^^^^^ Give Ewen a shout at CMS and he will talk you through the options which best suit your needs.
  2. Reconditioned this head for my own Cossie, however, fortunately it was not required. Combustion Chamber Machined to 50.4cc (4WD specification) Valve Seats in Brico LXW 35/D-HT Exhaust Valve Guides in Brico Sintered Composite MXP28 (Cu filled) Valves, Springs, Collets and Retainers not included. Please note, advertised elsewhere.
  3. If the rings have gone then you will more than likely find that the piston ring glands will be damaged as well, which will mean new pistons. So if you replace the pistons and rings and hone out the bores, fit new main bearings and big end bearings, together with a gasket set. etc etc etc.then you will be well North of £1500.00. You will have to strip the motor to fully assess the damage.
  4. Due to the design of the bearing and the length of the shaft there will be movement. Good engineering practise to swop out all bearings.
  5. . What's a full geometry? A full geometry is checking and adjusting the front and rear toe, camber, and castor (castor front only)
  6. I think that most twin turbo engine builders would disagree.
  7. Minimum requirement when the box is stripped would be both syncros and all bearings.
  8. Go back to the garage that fitted them. Did you get a full geometry done after bushing replacement ?
  9. For my 350 TT, I use Motul Competition 15W50 300V for road and track. For heavy track use I use Motul Competition 20W60 300V Le Mans.
  10. It is bank 1: Try an O2 simulator to space out the rear sensor from the flow. Might save you a few bob.
  11. Lovely as it is Buster and it certainly is, I am just not into all show and no go: Just saying. Sorry: No, I am not sorry, scrap that:
  12. If you think that it is the plastics, no need to remove, just give a good coating of silicone spray at the joins. http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-silicone-spray-40ml/3290F?kpid=3290F&cm_mmc=Google-_-Product%20Listing%20Ads-_-Sales%20Tracking-_-sales%20tracking%20url&gclid=CKjBgcrz7s8CFYydGwodw7EKUg
  13. You should be fine James if you disconnect the battery, however the resets are relatively easy if you ever have to do them.
  14. Great pics Hans. I live on the edge of Highland Scotland in Perthshire so if you intend to return, just give me a shout and I will provide some genuine Scottish hospitality. :drunk: Been to your neck of the woods a few times for the footy. (PSV) Alex.
  15. This is what you have on the top of the VQ35DE valves:
  16. Really ? The oem CSC has a habit of failing without any warning leaving you totally stranded, however it is your shout and I am only providing informed advice which you can either take or leave.
  17. Walking away is good. (1) There is no circlip. (2) There is no hydraulic tappet.
  18. If they are replacing the CSC, ask them to fit an aftermarket uprated one or you may well have the same problem again within a few thousand miles. You may have to pay a contribution towards this upgrade, however well worth the financial outlay.
