  2. You should be fine James if you disconnect the battery, however the resets are relatively easy if you ever have to do them.
  3. Great pics Hans. I live on the edge of Highland Scotland in Perthshire so if you intend to return, just give me a shout and I will provide some genuine Scottish hospitality. :drunk: Been to your neck of the woods a few times for the footy. (PSV) Alex.
  4. This is what you have on the top of the VQ35DE valves:
  5. Really ? The oem CSC has a habit of failing without any warning leaving you totally stranded, however it is your shout and I am only providing informed advice which you can either take or leave.
  6. Walking away is good. (1) There is no circlip. (2) There is no hydraulic tappet.
  7. If they are replacing the CSC, ask them to fit an aftermarket uprated one or you may well have the same problem again within a few thousand miles. You may have to pay a contribution towards this upgrade, however well worth the financial outlay.

  10. Plenty in stock, just drop me a pm if I can help further. Alex.
  11. Dip stick is a fiddle however you will soon get the hang of it. Drop the oil and bang on a new genuine Nissan oil filter at the same time. Best not to flush the system. Fill with the proper 5W30 fully synth fluid, 5 lts should take it to max. You do not mention the mileage or the model of your DE or if you did I have missed it. Only check when cold, preferably left overnight on a flat surface. Now your crisis is only a drama, but do keep a eye on your dip stick.
  12. That is a front 5 wire Wideband sensor in your ebay listing. Remember that the rears are also handed.
  13. If you are going to have to pay then I would recommend that you get a few quotes from a few 350Z specialists. If your car is a VQ35DE then labour should be circa £200.00 and clutch and fly circa £625.00. The noise from the vid may be the front gearbox bearing.
  14. Only if you applied the copper grease with a ladle.
  15. As per my last post these are genuine Nissan OEM bolts and part # is 544598-J001 Just get them from your local dealership as unfortunately I don't have time for photos of bolts
  16. Best to give the brakes a good bed in just in case you have got the pads mixed up Doubt if you have got air into the system, however a bleed and some fresh fluid will do no harm.
  17. Ask Paypal why the payment is pending. Was it a Paypal Goods transaction or a F&F ?
  18. Plenty new and preowned genuine Nissan OEM bolts in stock. However if you prefer to buy from your dealership the part # is 544598-J001
  19. HR then, Sounds like your CSC (concentric slave cyl) may be on its way out. Not a cheap fix as the gearbox has to be removed to replace the fly/clutch and CSC.
  20. Gregs every time you skinflint: If you don't know what skinflint means, just google it
  21. DE or HR ?
