Definitely clutch slip, unless you are spinning the rear wheels. Time to get the gearbox out for a new clutch and fly I am afraid.

If you overheat and lose or do not lose fluid then air will accumulate in the system. Your heater may start to blow cold on low rpm. Fix the overtemperature issue and bleed the system. Fitting a coolant header makes kids play of the air lock issue.

Wise decision, drain rad, refill slowly with L248, perhaps a quick bleed through the bleed screw if required, job done.

These are two completely different cars and no fair comparison can be given. I have owned all the Zeds from 2003 up. I have also owned numerous Vets including C5, C6 and ZO6. Loved them all, but no comparison ever made. The Vet wins the road presence dilemma all day long. Remember that the Vet has leaf springs, however, that should not concern you as you appear to be more concerned about road presence.

If you are confident on bleeding the system and have hours to spare then crack on mate. Of course, it is always best to flush out and replenish with new coolant, however, most members have run into issues with your proposed plan.

If you follow your plan, then you are going to get yourself into all sorts of bother with airlocks. If I was you I would just drain the radiator and refill with L248 which comes as a premix and is not expensive. I would not drain or flush out the block.

The Hel lines are a poor design and below average construction and there have been many reports of them failing, so well worth paying a premium price for a quality product like Goodridge. Brakes, similar to tyres should not be scrimped on. Not surprised by the negative response. I stopped selling these in 2010 as they were of extremely poor quality. Best to stick with tried and tested Goodridge.

HR are not handed but the DE are.

They are not compatible.

It will be the end brackets. I always recommend replacing the end brackets when replacing the "W" bracing. I sell the complete OEM genuine Nissan kit including all hardware. ie: "W" bracing, both end brackets, all hardware for £395.00. Alex.
