  1. Possible causes: for DTC P2101 Faulty Electric Throttle Control (ETC) Actuator Electric Throttle Control (ETC) Actuator harness is open or shorted Electric Throttle Control (ETC) Actuator circuit poor electrical connection The throttle actuator is operated by the Engine Control Module (ECM) and it opens and closes the throttle valve. Power supply for the throttle control motor is provided to the ECM via throttle control motor relay. The throttle control motor relay is ON/OFF controlled by the ECM. When the ignition switch is turned ON, the ECM sends an ON signal to throttle control motor relay and battery voltage is provided to the ECM. When the ignition switch is turned OFF, the ECM sends an OFF signal to throttle control motor relay and battery voltage is not provided to the ECM. The opening angle of the throttle valve is detected by the throttle position sensor which is mounted on the throttle body. The throttle position sensor provides feedback to the ECM. This feedback allows the ECM to control the throttle actuator and monitor the throttle opening angle in response to driver inputs.
  2. Are you planning on this "basic underseal" to be an annual occurrence/expenditure?
  3. Just to be clear guys, there is only one crank sensor on the DE and HR models. I think that you may be getting confused with the cam sensors which can vary between 1 per bank to 2 per bank depending on your model. Avoid cam and crank sensors from Ebay as they are rubbish with no longevity. Always fit genuine Nissan OEM to save all the ball ache.
  4. It will cost more than £100.00 just for decent materials alone. It will take about 8 hours labour to fully prep, apply and clean up for a proper job. If £100.00 is your budget then best to not bother and save your money for other goodies.
  5. If you are proposing to spend £250.00 on a pair of tyres, might be a plan to get the correct size:

  7. to the forum. These roofs should not be operated below 8C. If you are lucky then that is all it will be, if you are unlucky it will be the 5th bow motor. Try a window reset for the drop glass issue.
  8. If the throttle body is fully functional and you are getting fuel and spark, then I would start by looking at the battery condition.
  9. New pumps are in stock if required: Just drop me a PM if I can help further.
  10. Using the roof mechanism below 10C puts a terrible strain on the motors and the mechanisms. This is one of the main reasons why 5th bow motors eventually give problems.

    KY0 Bonnet 350z

KYO DE bonnets are in stock, however collection only I am afraid from PH1 4HS or PH2 6EZ.
  12. Easy to replace, just remove battery etc. Why not just refit the old one? Plenty in stock if required.
  13. Bank 1 is the driver's side on a RHD vehicle. Sensor 1 is the front sensor in the exhaust manifold. You will have to talk to Abbey about the rear sensor switch off.
  14. to the forum. These guys for the roof replacement: http://www.carhood.com/nissan/ !8" Rays will not compromise your ride. It is not straight forward getting the Bose to work off the controls. I did this in 2005 and had to make up a sub loom and some other stuff which I can't quite remember what, except that it was a ballache.
  15. These guys will sort you out with a Mohair for £850.00 http://www.carhood.com/nissan/
  16. Agree, If you are uncomfortable in buying a car with a patchy service history then wait until you find one that meets your requirements. Plenty of good cars out there with a fully documented service history. A well cared for car with a full service history will also help the residual value when you come to sell.
  17. Should all be achievable, but depends what you mean by minimum.
  18. Get a look at the V5 to get the previous owners details.
