  1. I'm sorry, how do you know exactly what I have/have not driven? If you could point me to the part of my comment where I said the 370 was in anyway a poor car or a bad choice, then that would be great. OH WAIT I DIDN'T The 370 isn't a popular car: Nissan haven't sold many at all, not compared to the 350, hence my comment. You don't see many on the roads at all, mostly because no-one wants a large-engined car with poor fuel consumption and high road tax. It's the way of the world and all large-engined cars of the same ilk have suffered equally, and unless fuel suddenly drops in price or VED or insurance is slashed then that's the way it will stay. It's great for the end user who can pick up a bargain, but don't kid yourself that the 370 is at the end of the depreciation curve. It's not, not by a long shot. Like I said, I don't care one jot about depreciation but some people do, which is why I mentioned it. Sorry matey, but there's no need to have a pop at me and basically accuse me for slagging off the 370 when I did no such thing. I gave an opinion, and I'd like think a relatively unbiased one seeing as how I don't even own a 370. Whether the OP chooses to take that into consideration is their own choice.
  2. MX5. No brainer. Fun, cheap, but not made in the olden days out of flint.
  3. I need to buy a 7, just so I can join in. That's my kind of forum, educating whilst entertaining!
  4. Hey, if they're willing to do it then even better! Get it in writing, happy days.
  5. Just be aware of depreciation. The 370 isn't a loved car by the populous in general, hence the low prices. In a year or maybe two fuel, tax and insurance will be more expensive for everyone, so a cheap 370 may lose even more than you think. You can't help the cars you fall in love with and want though, and tbh I've never given depreciation a single thought in any of my car purchases ever.
  6. They'll probably give you 8 years on one car and nothing on the other, as you haven't had it insured for a year yet. No chance 8 years NCB on both cars. If they did, it would be a very easy way for folks to get many years of multiple NCBs quite easily, I wouldn't be surprised if, regardless, you only got one NCB anyway.
  7. It's a mess, but then you knew that. Also, she has manlier legs than I do, and that's not saying that mine are particularly feminine.

Just get some 18s. As Neil has said, you really won't be struggling for grip on those.
  9. Scary thing is that all cars, without fail, sound better in real life than on video. If Crumb's car sounds that good on video, imagine how good it sounds in the flesh!
  10. Nope. RONG Pixies are ace. Proper quality leg ends. Some of the 'songs' on here may be big, but then so are 1D. In music, popularity is not a great definition of quality.
  11. And the biggest crime of all, holding the phone the wrong way up! Turn his TV on the side next time you're round his. It's the only way they'll learn.
  12. Sweet jesus they're awful Sorry dude, but they look the cheap and cheerful Halfords specials they are, especially on something tasty like an RRS. As long as you're happy is the main thing, but I really do think it looks ruined.
  13. In order of quality, from utter rubbish to acceptable to superb: Tape converter FM modulator Massive gap Bigger than that Even bigger still Bose hack New stereo No contest, really. I tried the tape thing first and discovered why people stopped listening to tapes as soon as they could (horrible magnetic twangy sound), then the FM thing and discovered that we have too many radio stations in this country for it to work properly and they're very underpowered, and then once I'd finished wasting my money I bought a new head unit and all was wonderful with the world. No longer did my iPod sound like it was stuck in a jar with the lid on, nor crackling every couple of mins: It sounded like it was bloody supposed to. Nice, twice.

I'm like the three-legged mangy family dog that brings you your slippers. Mostly useless, but every now and then exactly what you need
  15. Direct from Hoonigan website. They're pretty reasonable, not been on there in a while so I wonder if they've any new ones...

As it's for track, save yourself the effort and go buy some cheap battered Rays for a few hundred quid, then shod them in standard size 888s. I wouldn't really bother considering any other setup for track, you'll end up costing yourself a small fortune for zero gain.

Pilot Sport Cups? That's what the GT3s run, so definitely available in 19". Just don't ask the price...
  20. I think it's an age thing, but new music definitely appeals to me much less than it a few years back. Last decent song I heard on the radio was from Taylor Swift, and I don't mean the Ed Sheeran one.
  21. Cool story bro.
  22. The best sports car of a generation, bar none. For it to beat a 12c on track, even with the McLaren on road tyres, is incredible. From what I can see from the vid, the GT3 has a much improved upshift on the PDK as well over the regular 991s, which I've always found ponderous on occasion. The worst part for me is that I'll probably never drive one, as no OPCs are getting a demo car and even my talents in the way of blag probably won't get me a drive in one at Silverstone PEC. Still, I'm just grateful that it exists. And dear god that noise over 7k rpm!
  23. *runs away*
  24. *backs off slowly*
  25. Just don't look at the profile if you own the ragtop version and have the roof up... 'Challenging' is being kind 370Z got it so much better in that regard.
