  1. Yup, get under and have a good look. Pics if you want, then we'll have a look for you.
  2. I got the blimp. It was worth it at the start of the game to open the map up and see where I was going, but apart from that it's a bit useless.
  3. Okay, so maybe 7 mins looking at the time stamp. 5 of those were spent getting your link to work though!
  4. Oh FFS I spent 10 mins sorting that for you
  5. Mine's taking an age to boot up now, as well as load up the DLC in RockBand3. I think the HD is on it's way out, however I'm loathe to buy a new console just yet. If I can wait until the Xbone is out, then that will have all my attention and I can then wait for the 360 to drop in price, then I'll have a spanky new one to keep for aaaaaaaaages,
  6. True, however it could possibly be that it's still your console, could it not? If your mate's copy works fine in his, then I would suggest that it has to be your end. How old is the console?
  7. My brother reversed my truck into a tree last week. And a big tree, not a little sapling.
  8. So your new copy doesn't work on your console Your mate's new copy doesn't work on your console I'm seeing a pattern here, and it's not the game...
  9. No, you cannot forward date the tax. You'll have to queue up with the plebs on the 1st with the new keeper supplement I'm afraid. At least, AFAIK.
  10. Meh, they don't really have a choice. They either repair or refund at this point, although they may well surprise you and sort everything out amicably, albeit slowly
  11. No need to remove the engine cover, just a photo of the bonnet up would be good to see. If you've got the paperwork, you're laughing.
  12. Post-natal abortion. It's the way forward for idiots who believe stuff like this. Bloody mongtards. And then they compound their mistake by actually admitting to it on the interweb! Sorry, what was that you were saying again Graham?
  13. The tax band is set when the car is registered: As yours was done after March 2006, you'll pay whatever the rate is for the emissons, so the £460 or whatever it is will not change regardless of what you do. Even if it was a 309 car, you'd still be paying that. You have no comeback there, so don't waste your time. Against the dealer, it's a different story. Unless you have that it's a 309 car in writing (On the invoice? On an email enquiry?), I suspect that the law will not find in your favour if it went to court as on the balance of probabilities, it's likely the dealer did not tell you that it was a 309 car. I'm not calling you a liar, in fact I completely believe you, however I suspect a judge will not. As such, you're very much reliant on the dealership themselves to reimburse you maybe £1500 tops for your woes, but I'm guessing you'll be pissing up the wind here. What I would do is pop down and see them, and hopefully the same sales guy is there. Ask him if he remembers you, get him to confirm that you asked for a 309 car in casual conversation, then get him to inspect yours along with one of the techs and then the ball should drop. At that point, you've kinda got him over a barrel. Do it all friendly like, as if you've just popped in for a chat, and give him enough rope to hang himself with. If you go in all b=guns blazing you'll get nowhere, as they'll just close ranks.
  14. I was expecting this:
  15. Oh I dunno, if a main dealer tells you something then it's probably reasonable to believe it. Terrible if they did, though. Unless you've got it in writing...
  16. Top choice fella Mate of mine has the same car (SMG convertible) in Estoril, great fun to drive.
  17. Possibly, or they may just be very busy. Not a great excuse, I know, but plausible. Ian's right though, start making notes of days and times of things, you may need them.
  18. That wasn't my question. What I'm trying to get at it is how quickly you went back to the garage, as that could help or hinder you should you need to take this further. Again, is this the first time you mentioned it to them? Bearing in mind it's still under warranty, why did you not go back to them sooner? You went to the effort of asking here and going to CS, so clearly it was bothering you.
  19. Yeah, it's definitely not if it doesn't have two intakes. You've been sold a duffer there matey, sorry. Pic of the engine bay?
  20. I'm not splitting hairs, I'm being correct. It's no different to saying "My car had alloys fitted to it", when you really mean that you had put some aftermarket wheels on. We shouldn't except people being wrong as the norm, especially with terminology.
  21. I'd say your pretty safe. Is this the first time you've brought the matter to their attention? If not, why did you not do so earlier? Not trying to be a pain, I'm just asking the same questions you'll be asked in court.
  22. But they're still coilovers, are they not? As in a coil over a damper?
  23. How long ago did you purchase it? What does CS think the problem is?
