  1. Rinse with hose TBM for cleaning using wash mitt & shampoo of your choice Rinse with open ended hose Dry using drying towel Very, very basic but that's the idea. By the way, TBM = Two Bucket Method, one bucket with your warm water & shampoo in, and one with cold clean water to rinse mitt before loading up with shampoo water again. One panel at a time, i.e. load mitt, clean bonnet, rinse mitt, load mitt, clean bumper, rinse mitt etc.
  2. I've no posted a single mission spoiler at all. Go check my posts I don't like seeing mission spoilers either as it would ruin the main plotline, but the side stuff is fair game I feel.
  3. Sounds about right. It is a massive OS update, after all. I like it. It seems a bit odd at first, but it's definitely more user-friendly than iOS6 was in terms of quick access to things. The only thing I'm not keen on is that the Phone screen seems to refresh itself after you've clicked on it but before it's usable, so that you see a name you want to call on your recent list and touch it, but by the time you get there it's refreshed to a different name. Odd, but not a deal breaker. You can argue over handset capability until you're blue in the face, but there's no doubting that iOS is still the best mobile OS available.
  4. http://www.litchfiel...n-GTR-Servicing This one, if you're interested Doesn't specify on that page anywhere, but again I bet it's not the ESP version.
  5. Snow foam isn't worth it in the slightest. Even after you've used it, you still need to use the TBM to actually clean the car. If a car was really, really, really filthy then I may use the foam as a pre-cleaner (I did on the Impreza after I came back from a very snowy and gritty trackday at Spa in March), but otherwise it's just another 20 mins of wasted time. A hose nozzle set at the appropriate spray setting will get rid of as much larger particles of dirt as you'd need.
  6. I quite like it when the filter is used to correct spelling mistakes and txt spk, i.e. teh becomes the, cos becomes because, m8 becomes mate etc.
  7. Not the ESP version, I bet. Porsche recommend (i.e. are paid money to advertise) Mobil 1 too, but the regular version, not that crap that's supposed to help with emissions.
  8. How To Make A Car Look Fugly, pt1
  9. Personally I don't see why we need a swear filter at all. Okay, maybe for the c word which seems to be hated (although I used to censor my own use, anyway), but really we're all adults and self moderation works better than any filter. If someone swears all the time they become dull, but if swearing is used sparsely then it can be used to great effect to liven up a post.
  10. I'd love one. It's exactly what we should be doing, and that's reducing weight not adding heavy motors and batteries and things.
  11. That's the guy from IMOC, I read that when he posted it and thought it was the least funny thing ever. It was like he tried to copy those funny ads, but just failed on every level. If it was an Almera or a Corolla or something equally bland it'd be a much better joke, but because it's a sportscar it just came across as a bit too try-hard.
  12. I spent two hours last night doing basically nothing. I went exploring in the north and found the prison, some bits of the letter, robbed a couple of gas stations, bought some new threads, and played nine holes of golf. Two hours. And I didn't advance the main game one little bit.
  13. JUST GO AND BUY IT FROM A SHOP AND SEND THE OTHER COPY BACK
  14. Ssssshhhhhhh I really want to just leave work and go and play this, tbh. Haven't felt like that about a game in a long time. Reading about other people's experiences with this across various forums makes me realise that I've barely scratched the surface, and that everyone is having a different experience so far.
  15. Why? Do you feel your emissions system needs help? I wouldn't bother in a perormance car, put something proper in that's designed to protect the engine when it's being driven hard.
  16. It's utterly superb. I spent about 6 hours with it yesterday, and I've not even scratched the surface. I spent a while watching TV, playing some tennis, did a race, smashed some mugger up and gave the lady her bag back, got a 'fro, and I've not even done the first heist yet.
  17. I think Alex will have all this data, or at least I'd be amazed if he didn't.
  18. Agreed, but allow for a couple of hours in case of any hiccups with stuck bolts etc.
  19. I didn't think I was that short, but clearly others have said different! I'm about 5'9" so not exactly Stretch Armstrong.
  20. At what price, though? More weight = more power needed for same performance = less dynamic drive. I suspect it may also be 4WD, which would completely change the ethos of the car.
