  1. Would need to see them in the flesh on a car, but my gut says no.
  2. Don't get me wrong, I can totally see the appeal of having a rare car and all things being equal I'd choose one too, however that would be a by-product of the choice rather than something I would look for. For instance, the R8 is a much rarer car than the 911 but I discounted it simply because it wasn't quite as quick and had much less luggage space. I'd like one at some point I think, but for me the drive must always come first.
  3. True, but then that went from coupe/targa to full convertible so I wouldn't really include that. I guess Impreza saloon to hatch would fall under the same banner.
  4. Just the 350, not keen on the 370. I wanted a 2 seat convertible that had to be capable of long touring. I'd already had an MR2 and a VXR220, so I tried the S2K which was ace but I couldn't quite fit in it as I was a fat b*stard then, so tried the 350Z. Fell in love with the noise, and the rest is history. My other factors were: Must be reliable (ruled out TVRs and Boxsters) Must be cheap to service (ruled out BMWs) Must be fun and characterful (ruled out BMWs!) Must be around £25K (ruled out anything pricier) Looking at that, I don't think there was much of a choice really or at least nothing obvious that comes to mind. How common it was never entered my head.
  5. The thing is, it doesn't matter if it was two, five, ten or a hundred years ago, it's still true and will always be true. Well, until the polar caps melt and we all drown, but that won't happen for millions of years so I don't care about that.
  6. Unlikely, I would say. Possible, but unlikely. This is why I never pre-order with mail order. I'd rather pay a couple of quid more and get it from a shop, thus guaranteeing myself the game. On a positive note, there were tons of copies left in my local Game when I was in there, so much better supplies than with GTA IV.
  7. Fair enough. I think that's absolutely bonkers and is cutting your nose off to spite your face, but each to their own.
  8. Smaller, lighter, but with the same power? No chance. The concept might, but not the production version. Definitely won't be smaller (barring the Mazda2, no car has ever been smaller than the predecessor), lighter maybe but not by much, and the same power is likely to actually be more to keep the marketers happy. Expect a 2L turbo with some kind of crappy hybrid motor system at best. I don't actually hate the idea of electric motors, but I've yet to see them in a performance car that actually aided performance rather than maintained it (LF, P1 & 918 included). Japaneses don't seem to be able to do big engines with decent economy atm, or at least I can't think of any.
  9. I sneaked out of work, popped to Game to pick my copy up, went home and installed it, then went back to work as if nothing happened Didn't fancy wasting any time by picking it up after work y'see, so now I can get home and get straight into it. Like a boss.
  10. Had we not been quite so manic at work, I'd have had the day off too and done the midnight launch. I've got the Friday for the Xbone launch booked off already though
  11. Who cares? I look gay as fook when I drive the Mini, but it's fun so I don't care.
  12. Nooooo yours is awesome as it is mate! Single exit screams chav.
  13. People who sell their cars but still hang around on the forum are sad old losers. Oh, wait...
  14. Lazy ass reporting at it's very worst. Scotland always has snow in Oct every year, so the fact they're forecasting snow in parts of Britain then is just bloody obvious. Chap on SELOC mentioned they had snow around the Glencoe area over the weekend, so really Britain has already been hit by snow. In other news, apparently Britain may be hit by rain, wind and some sunshine over the next few months too. Whatever next!
  15. :scare: Remind me never to shop where you buy your plugs from Yeah yeah, I know you meant plugs
  16. rFactor has plenty for download, if you've a PC. If you want to learn the tracks, you could do worse than buy the 2013 UK Circuit Guide. I've got the '09 edition and it's brilliant, a must-read before I drive a new track or just to refresh my memory about the lines if I've not driven there in a while.

    Fuel

Which is exactly what I said in my first post, and then I clarified it by quoting the BS number so if you're ever not sure, you need only look at the pump itself as all pumps have the BN numbers on them

Okay, maybe I wasn't clear enough on my original post, and this is now descending into the realm of "I only use this!" and "Nothing else will do for my Zed!". So, for absolute clarity: Any fuel that conforms to BS 7800 is suitable for running in the 350Z. In an emergency you may use fuel that conforms to BS EN228, but you must limit yourself to low revs (3k rpm and below) else you can damage your engine. This only applies to the DE engined cars, as the HR cars can adapt for the lower RON fuel. Any fuel that meets BS 7800 can be used in the 350Z. That includes all BP, Shell, Tesco, Texaco, Gulf and whoever else I've missed super unleaded variants.

BP Ultimate will be fine. Anything marked as Super Unleaded will do.
  21. Book them, and they will come
  22. I did when I was a kid, like 11 or 12. I stopped when the horse behind mine bit my one's arse, which sent mine off into a mad gallop and threw me. Well, I say threw, I kinda fell off as he started running and I got my legs tangled, so I was dragged along by one leg in the stirrups for a bit before I eventually fell off completely. Oddly enough I wasn't so keen to go back after that.
  23. Who did the what now? Is James the OP? He didn't change anything, there's no 'edit' mark on his post.
