    De cat??

No. Even if it did, which it won't, it would fail under the new MOT rules that state if a car had a cat from the factory, then it must still have one fitted.
  2. However, and more seriously, whilst I don't doubt that there is a lot (and that's a massive understatement) of clean up works still to do at Fukushima, neither do I believe that it's of immediate concern. I'm basing that on very rough knowledge of the info around me, plus a vague idea of how nuclear reactors work these days, and that kinda suits me for now. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong and we'll deal with it as a world community if/when something bag happens.
  3. I'd be more concerned that your full stop and shift keys aren't working, tbh.
  4. I would do the first option. My 911 goes to a specialist who subs out the MOTs to another guy, but I trust the specialist implicitly so I never have any worries. It's just a car and it's nothing more complicated than an MOT. I've had garages road test my cars before at speed without asking, but then they were a main dealer and the problem was speed-related so I think that was fair enough
  5. Even more impressive then, well done folks!
  6. So how do you become a member, then? Do they come and check your premises, paperwork and past works, or is it just a pay-some-money-and-agree-to-the-code-of-conduct kinda thing? Congrats either way btw, I'm just genuinely curious
  7. Probably rear fogs, at a guess.
  8. You shouldn't be putting regular 95 in it anyway as it can be catastrophic for the engine. Slightly better power top end, but the real benefit is more torque throughout the rev range and no more limit in 1st and 2nd gears, seriously improves the drivability of the car. Definitely worth doing, but do any breathing mods (intake, exhaust etc) beforehand to make the most of it.
  9. They were crap. As was I at them. I was a big Transformers fan as a kid. And He-Man. I had Castle Greyskull and Skeletor's place and everything.
  10. Oh, and congrats Vik, good to hear you've got something sorted even if it's not ideal
  11. Bingo. Line up the firing squads for the wasters, too.
  12. You're wrong! And far too opinionated and rude! Internet warrior!
  13. AA and RAC are pretty much identical. I gave both a normal RAC membership and the 911 is covered via Porsche Assist who also use the RAC. I've called upon them multiple times and they've always been ace, but then it's luck of the draw if you get a good mechanic or a quiet time. No right or wrong choice really, as long as you pick a big name.
  14. Awww man, I used to have one of those! I'd completely forgotten about it until now!
  15. Docs got it bang-on. We might give £100M away to a country in aid, but then they grease the wheels with their big companies who then make sure we get £1000M worth of contracts.
  16. Oversteer city! Probably just put the wheels on the wrong way, although that doesn't excuse that nor fitting the wrong sizes. Go back (carefully!) and get them to change them.
  17. Will, do you realise that you do this with almost every single one of your threads? It's either very vague, or ends with ellipsis and multiple exclamation marks. Almost every single thread you start is like that, I can't be the only one who noticed it. Granted most of them are videos or links or whatever. I like the OPs rant, and he's got an excellent point. There's no harm in doing it occasionally for effect, or where it's off-topic anyway so the title is a bit irrelevant, but for anyone actually asking for help then a clear, concise title should be mandatory.
  18. If you brake test a RRS, you'd better be driving a tank. Mob mentality took over there, and they got exactly what they deserved. Yes, the driver should've called the police earlier perhaps, but I'd have done exactly the same thing in his shoes: Hit the loud pedal and get the flock out of there.
  19. Correct, but the usual caveat about mixing tyres applies. PS1 and PS2 tyres are very different tread patterns, a quick google search will let you know which ones you have on right now. They do both just say Pilot Sport on the side though, irritatingly enough.
  20. Is it the right oil? No. Is it going to make your engine collapse? No. Long term it won't do it any favours and you'll be losing power, but it's better than no oil at all. I'd replace it sooner rather than later and I wouldn't go tracking it, but to use it normally won't hurt too much.
