Thanks again for everyones help. i have spoken to the referred by Admiral and they have said they will replace all the damage with Nissan parts instead of repairing it. They said they wouldn't even think of doing a filler job with the type of car it is. So I am going ahead with that. lol I have asked my insurers for a like for like hire car, but if they w*nker denies fault, then I wont be entitled to one . Nissan Micra it is!

Thanks everyone for the advice! Was my font really that small? I must had zoomed in on my browser page somehow lol (sorry). I have done some research on the garage, but I can't find any reviews. I'm sure they are very capable, but I just want to be sure its going to be done right. I have just noticed that Nissan quoted for a 370z Base Model, aren't the doors different on the Nismo? While I'm on the subject of a body shop, can anyone recommend a decent one near Essex/London? Sorry for all the questions

I am absolutely gutted and fuming to say the least. Some idiot went into my lane without looking and smacked into the side of my 370z. Its insured with Admiral who have given me a recommended garage, but I am a little hesitant to just allow anyone to repair it. The last thing I need is someone filling in my dents to keep the price low for the insurers. This is my first claim so I don't really know how well their recommended garages are?! Can anyone recommend what I should do or consider while in this situation? I have gone to Nissan and asked for a detailed quote so I know what parts need to be replaced. Much appreciated. -Louise

Afternoon, I was a little disappointed with the sound of my Nismo when I picked it up in October, I expected a sexier noise. Can anyone recommend an alternative that goes with the cars style and sounds decent? At the end of the day, I don't want it to sounds like a saxo flying down the road, I want it to sound like a performance car. Also where I can get it fitted? thanks

Sorry I was too excited when I got mine and completely forgot about the rest of the world. Yes I got it, it took over two months but it was worth the wait. Love Love Love it. Because it is a special order, Nissan dont really know how long it takes to get one, so they estimate a time of arrival by going on all the other cars they sell. Nismos come straight from Japan and does take a while to get to the UK.

few small plans... 1. change the nissan badges for black Z. (currently in my shed) 2. visit maybe rt-performance to see if they can wrap/paint the doorhandles black. 3. POSSIBLE exhaust upgrade later in the year 4. POSSIBLE 10mm spacers but doubtful I will do this as I don't want to change the cars geometry at all as I love the set up. 5. POSSIBLE rear window and side rear tints. 6. 100% some form of cat sticker on the car. Where did you get your badges from? I need to change mine when it finally arrives. Did you get the handles wrapped/painted? I really don't understand why Nissan do them silver, looks cheap. Does anyone know how long the process is when ordering one from Japan? When we purchased it back in June, they said we should expect it before September. Still waiting :'( Well I ordered mine in July and they told me it would be 16 weeks which I worked out would be mid November and when I spoke to the dealer the other day they said they had a delivery date of the 10th November to the dealership. What colour did you order? As the waiting times for a black one was about 6 weeks and 10 weeks for a white one. Oh that's a touch. I certainly do! haha! I love the American Nismo, an absolute beaut. Looks gorgeous, I love the red but wasn't an option at the time Looks stunning, hows mod going?

Hi all, My 370z Nismo will be here in September and I would like someone to colour code the fascias and rear spoiler. The last thing I want is an orange peeled Z. Can anyone recommend a decent sprayer in or around Essex? I am willing to go further if its worth the trip. If anyone has done this and have pictures, I would love to see them.
