It might help if we knew why you wanted to know. Is there some particular functionality you want to replicate?

Did you touch the piece of the Moon?! That was the bit I found utterly mesmerising, more so than even standing by the Saturn V.

Okay, I got it the first time Whilst it makes a fair point, it also completely ignores how democracy works. If I voted Labour last time round, then the current government does not serve my purpose at all, regardless of where it's based. If people bothered to read what their local MPs stood for, rather than voted for the leader of the party, then they might actually get the government they want. People are stupid, and democracy has failings. That's nothing new. What happens if Scotland votes Yes, and then all power is transferred to Holyrood? Given that the population of Glasgow and Edinburgh is around 3.6M (Wiki figures) then does that mean that they will essentially be speaking for the vast majority of Scotland, and ignoring the other 2M who live outside of that area? Well, yes, it does. Will they serve their own interests? Of course they will: No-one ever votes for anything other than what pleases the individual: Again, that's democracy for you! Granted, I live pretty damn close to London, and I would imagine that for the most part what works in London will work for the more prosperous parts of Essex. That doesn't mean it always will, and certainly a Labour government would not suit my needs at this current time at all. It's all about how you view it, and whether you can accept that sometimes a central government works and sometimes it doesn't. Again, if Scotlanders are prepared to accept the rule of Holyrood instead of the rule of Westminster, then good luck to them and I wish them well. As long as everyone understands that it won't miraculously mean they'll suddenly be millionaires Rodney (and to be fair, no-one in this thread does), then that's cushty.

The speed of the biker at the point of impact was irrelevant, as the car didn't see either the biker nor the white car travelling behind. If you're that blind, then you could hit something travelling at 2mph. If the biker had been doing 60mph, he'd still be dead now most likely. The car driver was incredibly stupid and will have to live with that, but the biker was fool hardy at every point up until the moment of impact. Two sides and all that.

So you saw the Britain First thing on FB too, then. All I will say is do some research into Britain First and certain extremist right wing groups before sharing that around. More people rob petrol stations every year whilst wearing helmets than burkas. Likewise, there's a higher proportion of terrorists that are of Muslim descent than ride motorbikes. As such, I feel that it's fair to make biker remove helmets when buying fuel, and vice versa when entering the country. Oh, I have no doubt the racist card will be played here at some point, but it's very hard to argue with numbers at this point. It's the same reason that more coloured folks get stopped and searched than white folks: Purely, the stats say they're more likely to be carrying. Until stats say differently, I have no objection to groups being singled out. It's no different than myself being a white Essex lad being more likely to be stopped whilst driving a loud fast car than an elderly coloured gent, although slightly less likely to end up as front page news. Is that right, or fair? No, probably not. Until we end up living in Minority Report though, it's how life is going to be.

Also, when fitting larger wheels be aware that they will make your car slower (in a straight line and round corners) as well as give a much harsher ride, unless they are extremely light and therefore extremely expensive. If you do have your heart set on those wheels, don't forget you can source tyres elsewhere. As others have said, offset is key here.

Worked okay for me

It's a fair point, but I wouldn't do it if there were pedestrians there. No excuse, though.
-
Or sell it and let someone else enjoy it. I'm an Essex lad through and through so Cossies are in my blood, but they're hardly a GTO or F1. They're a bit ugly, not great to drive, and don't make a great noise. Cash in before the rest of the world catches up.
-
I've done that before. Admittedly only when it was clear there were no pedestrians, but on the odd occasion when the road layout is awkward I've done it. Doesn't mean I think it's right, though.
-
Will, you live on the bloody game! Mine's packed away for the house move, but it'll come out soon enough. My Xbone went from standby right through to 4OD to watching Educating The East End tonight, without me going anywhere near the controller. How people can live without Kinect, I don't know.

More paint on the road, more danger.

Well, you know what? It's not often I admit I'm wrong but I'll do it now. I thought this project was going to end up on the cheap and a disaster like most others, but I was wrong. I know you're not quite at the end yet, but I've been very impressed with your workmanship on this mate. I hope the end result is what you're after, fair play sir

Cold water does a very good job. Yes, seriously.

My ex got done for pulling out into a biker. 4pts for careless driving, biker broke his ankle. Stupid bint.

No, you don't leave modern engines to warm up. You start them then you drive off immediately, but with mechanical sympathy so basically keep the revs to under 3k until the oil (not coolant) is warm. Then go nuts
-
I think we all empathy for self-determination, I just query whether it's ultimately worth it if you end up worse off.
-
He's wrong. No engine should ever be revved from cold.
-
So you'd be happy with an independent Scotland with the Euro? I don't think I'd want to take the risk if the roles were reversed, but fair play for sticking to what you believe

He could package up his hot air, that's for sure. I think the biggest issue with this referendum is that it went political. Too many people see Salmond as the face of Yes, and Call Me Dave as the face of No (despite Alistair "Eyebrows" Darling being the poster boy). It's not the SNP vs Cons, it's not Scottish Labour vs Regular Labour, it's simply one idea against another. Salmond won't be here forever, and the ConDem government will be here for an even shorter time. If people put aside their party affiliations and actually looked at the issues, we'd all be much better off in this debate. Oh, and anyone who mentions Braveheart should be slapped. It's the equivalent of Godwin's Law in this debate, it really is.

Even more fun!
