  1. I think you took my last post the wrong way, George. Wasn't meant as a dig, no need to be so defensive bud. The thing I don't get about the Yes vote, is that even this close there is no definitive answer about the currency (having three Plan Bs is not right, there should be a solid plan in place), no definitive answer about Europe (they're still guessing), and no back up plan regarding finances when the oil runs out (which it will, might not be for 100 years but it will). Without those answers in clear English, I can't see how any vote for Yes could be anything other than an illogical punt in the dark with a lot of chest beating thrown in. Part of me now wants a Yes vote, just to see what happens when everything falls down.

    New Mini

What? No. You cannot get the part overnight, that's not how it works. It could easily take a month to slot you back in the supply chain for a new airbag.
  3. But any money is good money, doesn't matter about the reason Come on then Steve, all joking aside, you up for it?
  4. Do Rogue not do one already? Actually, I could inquire tomorrow when I'm up there.

    New Mini

Sounds plausible to me, new cars have issues all the time (a la 991 GT3). Airbags would be made by another supplier so that could account for the wait time. Why do you think it's bollocks? Surely the longer they delay it, the longer they have to wait for their money?
  6. I'd be putting a fence up, ASAP.
  7. Not too bad, although cash flow atm means that I may not be able to go for it in the immediate future.
  8. Ooooooh nice! In theory yes, however it would need to fit under the hardtop (no soft top in mine, remember) and I wouldn't need the catch.
  9. So now we're getting ever-closer to this, and the arguments for and against are a little more played out, where do people stand? Has anyone actually changed their stance at all? Both Brits and Scots welcome to respond.
  10. I love it when you throw your prostitutes out everywhere matey
  11. Lol, so basically we're in complete agreement then
  12. Meh. Working at an airport, I guess I'm just a bit casual when it comes to the alert states now. I see them as nothing more than a political tool really, used to justify spending money (or not) in certain areas. Oddly this actually does nothing to how the security forces react as far as I'm aware, as it's classed in the same heightened state as severe. Attacks are prevented by intelligence these days, so they can pretty much call the threat level whatever they want as either the intelligence works, or it doesn't.
  13. No chance, Hamilton is far more marketable to the world than Rosberg. They would happily drop the German/Finn/Monacoite if they could keep Lewis behind the wheel.
  14. Sounds like the woman who lives across the road from me. Every night we hear her come back in her Aygo, VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM goes the engine as she attempts to park in on her drive. I asked her husband about it once, apparently she's been through three clutches in 25k miles
  15. Pfft, I use Ocado. Or rather, the butler does, it's far beneath me to buy my own shopping. Great numbers Steve, 10kgs in 4 weeks is outstanding stuff mate, really chuffed for you Have you noticed much difference in your clothes yet? Tell you what, how's about this for a challenge: Keep the weight loss thing going. If you can get down to 15st by Christmas, I'll donate £10 to any charity of your choice. Straight up, no questions. You've got 16 weeks, so loads of time. 106kg to 95kg, give or take. Up for it?
  16. Every single time the naysayers have made a comment, we've backed it straight up with the words "Any money is a good thing". I'm not sure how many more times we can repeat ourselves. I just don't feel that you should donate to charity because of peer pressure. You should do it because you want to, because you care about the cause. That's it.
  17. Just a few mapping issues to get sorted now, hopefully pick the car up this weekend to bring back down south and then get it sorted. Let me know what Cadwell is like, still haven't been there yet.
  18. Did anyone watch Star Paws last night? Full of famous animals! I love Grumpy Cat so much
  19. But the reason for the water throwing was to create awareness. Now everyone knows about it, there's no point and you might as well just donate the money, if you feel compelled to. I've been nominated twice now. Thankfully, no-one has followed up on the nomination.
  20. Not for £7k. It's a 2003 with rusty arches, I'd be looking more at £6k absolute tops for a minter.
  21. Be worth a fortune today, too
  22. Nah, orange! I wondered what the proper term was

    Corvette C6

Where does he say he doesn't? You're being deliberately obtuse. Let me state this again, just for absolute clarity: NO-ONE WHO WANTS A CORVETTE IS GOING TO GIVE A SIDEWAYS GLANCE AT A BLOODY VAUXHALL.

And still look much uglier, and still have two more seats, and not be able to take the roof off...
