  1. *facepalm*
  2. As I said, just do it online. Easy.
  3. I thought it was just a typo
  4. Call them. Sometimes it takes 5 mins, sometimes 5 hours, sometimes 5 days. Can you not tax it online?
  5. I don't think an air rifle is really comparable to a proper firearm. We don't know the back story here enough, really. If that was the first gun she's ever held, then that's utter stupidity. If she's grown up with guns and has happily fired most pistols then this may just have been the next step (giant leap?).
  6. Tbh, I'm not seeing a huge amount wrong with it. Given the context of their country, which is completely different to ours culturally with regards to guns, then really the only thing I can see wrong is that he didn't hold the gun with the child. Ultimately he's paid the price for that mistake, but I don't see anything wrong with getting children used to guns as long as you're teaching them a respect for them at the same time. Teach them how to use, how to control, how to be safe, but also teach them that they're f*cking dangerous. I'd almost compare it to the way that I see no harm in giving kids small amounts of alcohol with meals from an early age, to build up their respect for booze. Shooting guns is fun, no doubts about that, so if you can teach them to do it in a controlled environment then why not? The issue of whether guns should be as common as they are is another issue entirely, IHMO.
  7. Hands up if, as a nine year old boy, you'd have loved to shoot an Uzi?
  8. Nope, they're great tyres.
  9. What Mac is it, and what version of OSX is it running?
  10. Sad times I'm sure she knows you loved her and you did everything you could for her, just remember all the good times you had together. Stay strong mate.
  11. Nah, had to take the 911 instead sadly. In the end it worked out okay, but I've still got Donny booked for October so fingers crossed it's ready for then
  12. Not good, fingers crossed for you mate
  13. Massively missing the point. Even if you never, ever go anywhere near the level of grip offered by car, tyre or driver, you get more miles out of them per pound spent. The fact they handle superbly is a bonus in that regard.
  14. Thanks guys. Genuinely much appreciated, always happy to learn new things My views on donating for this have not changed, though.
  15. That's what the boot is for
  16. So what's the budget?!
  17. ^^^ genius.
  18. Night drives pwn all. Especially in a convertible, there is no finer driving experience.
  19. I doubt that anyone truly understands what ALS/MND actually is, myself included.
  20. I'm not ignoring your post Steve, but I don't have an answer for it. I feel for your sister, you and your family, and it must be awful to know there's nothing you can do. Life isn't fair, and bad things happen to good people, but none of that claptrap makes your situation any easier to bear.
  21. So hang on Rich, you don't rate the MPSS but you've never tried them? Sorry mate, but you're wrong. They've significantly moved the game on in what people should expect from a tyre on a sports car. On a wafting barge like your Jag I'm sure you'd not notice any difference apart from getting twice the mileage for 1/3 more money, but for those of us with cars that handle they are a cut above when it comes to handling characteristics. OP, the F1s are much better than the Kumhos.
  22. You need to try putting some balm on afterwards. I use Nivea For Men Sensitive post shave balm, works a treat.
  23. Being aware has nothing to do with it, or shouldn't have. It should be about something you care about. In a more direct answer to your question, I'm not sure I have an answer for you. I'm not sure anyone could.
