Cutting my scrotum when wet shaving. Bleeds forever, I tell you.

I love Imprezas. I just don't love sh*tty diesel Imprezas. For £10K, I'd have 2005 DCCD blobeye without breaking sweat. Superb cars.

Not listed on their website. They're in every game 'cos they're great tracks! I see no point in having Snet 100 & 200 for example, miles too small for the race cars in the game. They have the made up ones as well, so why not ditch them for proper tracks? I hate it just as much as when Forza does it too, so I'm not picking on Pcars here especially. Personally I do prefer the physics in Forza to GT by some margin, the cars feel so much more alive when they're moving around on track. Even the race cars do that to some extent, which I don't see them doing here.

People in Essex can't drive for toffee. Wait...

I could not think of a worse car to buy than a diesel Impreza hatch. All of the downsides (clattery engine, crap interior, bland exterior, generally ugly and unwanted) with none of the benefits (fast, wonderful engine note, bags of character). Diesel Scoobies have their place, but it's with big vehicles you use on a farm. You're better than that Craigo, definitely

Golf R has to be around £300pcm I would think. *EDIT* Just checked, first link came up as £321.98.

It's the handling physics I'm concerned about. There's very little footage of drifting, and the bits there are do not look massively convincing at all. You can drift in GT and it feels good, you can drift in FM and it feels better. It's a key component of how the cars handle on the limit. I may not want to buy parts for the race cars (you can't for the race cars in FM5 either), but I would do for the street cars. Why would you not want to? It has a handful of UK circuits, but where's Suzuka? Where's the Ring? Where's things like Fuji, or COTA, or Paul Ricard? I'd rather any of them than Snet or Oulton. The current track list only has 20 circuits, which isn't enough IMHO. I love my car games, and I want this to be a winner, but there's too many things nagging at the back of my mind. Hope I'm wrong though!

The real irony there is that the guy who got clouted is actually partially to blame: Why was he changing lanes, and why did he not use his mirrors? If he'd done the latter, he'd have seen the 458 flying up and let him go first, which would've put the 458 well ahead of the GT-R. Obviously both the Nissan and the Ferrari were pushing their luck, but the innocent party there isn't entirely blame-free. Didn't deserve that, though.

Which I suspect is going to be all shirt and no trousers, sadly. I really don't like the fact that there's no tuning as we know it, by adding parts and stuff: Just changing suspension geometry and spring/damper rates. I get why, but I also feel that it's going to feel very staid as a game.

I wouldn't pay decent money for either DC or The Crew. Both are style over substance, or neither in the case of the Crew! Save your pennies and wait for GT6/7/8, or get an Xbone and enjoy the delights of FM5 or FH2.

Forgot how annoyed I get this time of year......grrrr

There is no such crime as undertaking. If there is space to the left, and traffic is queuing in the lane you are in, you are perfectly entitled to move to the left and carry on in that lane. Indeed, that's exactly what you should be doing. Unless it's obvious that you're going to need to pull back out in 10 secs, then you should be keeping left at all times. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem Not aimed at you Hayden, just general comments matey -
Likewise. It was amazing first of all, then after a week you realise that it just makes the car a twitchy mess when you really want a subtle pedal control. At that point you turn it down from 7 to about 4, and then it's just about okay. And then you realise it's still a bit irritating, so you just take it off and go back to exactly how it was, and suddenly you have all your throttle control back and everyone's happy! If it's absolute figures you're after, Uprev is ace. If you just want to go faster, then £400 on Walshy at Carlimits will make you go much, much quicker.

Well, it's mine and I'd quite like it back, it's getting a bit nippy out now y'know...
-
I quite like the Scirocco, especially in the acid green, but I couldn't pay more than a Golf for one when it's the exact same car but less practical, albeit prettier.

Is it a fluffy one? With lacy cuffs?

123d is a damn sight more manly than a Golf in a frock

Option C) WHERE'S MY F***ING PRESENTS YOU TIGHT B*STARDS??!! I made a little joke of it when I did my groom speech, by saying that we were very grateful for the presents from those that did give us stuff, but that those who didn't really shouldn't worry about it as the gift list was still open for another week and they could still make a purchase at any time Got a few laughs, but I also got more presents as some people really did go back and buy us stuff!

No vote needed, I didn't wait for one and since it's my idea then I get to decide Start a new thread mate, perhaps the mods could lock this one and set it free, then we can all start afresh.

As good as the 350 is in the corners, it's a bit wobbly from the factory and you really need to do a bit to it to get it where I suspect you'd want it. Nothing major (light wheels, camber/toe arms, ARBs, and a good geo) but at the same time even if you've done all of that it's going to feel like a boat compared to either of yours. It's a sporty GT car, rather than a sports car that can do the GT thing. I loved mine, and I will get another, but I won't pretend that it's a chuckable little thing: That's what I have the MR2 for. And that doom and gloom aside, if you're after something that is different to what you have and want the big cruiser bruiser, I don't think you'll find anything with more personality or at a more reasonable price than an FI 350Z

I must be looking at different pictures to the rest of you. I've no doubt that it is a pretty colour, but the first pic is all washed out and the second one in shadow so it looks black. Get some proper pics taken in the sun up, man!
-
I would have no problem with that, and it would be a good thing for the noobs and those who didn't get a chance the first time to have a play Craig, you fancy organising it?
-
Depends. If you spend your life at road legal speeds (ish), then an FI Zed will definitely not feel anywhere near as quick as what you're used to. It'll also be so much heavier that it'll feel like a barge in the corners. Where big engined cars really start to show off is when you get over the ton, so whereas the 205 and the kit car (which one out of interest?) will start running out of puff near then, the 350Z will just be getting in it's stride. All relative of course, I'm sure that neither of your current cars feels like they're struggling at just 100mph! A standard 350Z can feel a bit slow, but it's not until you look down that you realise it's putting on speed very quickly. I've never driven an SC 305, but have driven a low power and high power turbocharged 350 but they both didn't feel monstrously quick below 60. Also, massive kudos for running light cars with big power
