  1. There will be good cheer and tidings to all on the 25th of this month, and not a moment before
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WhhSBgd3KI
  3. Simple answer: They can't. First time buyers buy at the bottom end of the market, and other folks who don't have the money to trade up generally just stay where they are.
  4. Depends where you are. Rates will be cheaper in t'north.
  5. IT'S NOT BLOODY CHRISTMAS YET
  6. I had to google her. Not really, it's more like that bird with all the tattoos that everyone goes crazy for. It's not exactly classically pretty, but it's got all the bits you really want.
  7. 406 coupe was a beautiful car, some great lines on that for sure. 456 not exactly desirable, but it does have a 5.5L V12 to make up for it...
  8. http://vmax200.co.uk/index_h.php Give Craig an email and see if you can get onto the next one, whilst he wouldn't go for standard Zeds I reckon a supercharged one would be right up his street
  9. You'll never get 4.2secs 0-60 in the CR, even with LC on. For some reason, the LC in the CR is bloody awful, and even with PCM on or off it skips and hops and doesn't really know what it's doing. It's the same tech as in my old 911, which was absolutely flawless. Neither me nor my brother could work out why mine was so good and his so terrible! Not that it's remotely about 0-60 mind, the grunt between 30-120 is just superb.
  10. Better looking than the actual Cali, and with better steering too!
  11. Very impressive stuff, nicely done Don't worry too much about the entry speed onto the straight from round the corner, it makes no difference whether you take the corner normally (higher speed, less tarmac) or do a standing start from the bottom (lower speed, more tarmac) as the terminal speed is the same regardless. SMG or manuals?
  12. One. More. Day. I can do it...
  13. 991 S is already 400bhp without the X51 kit, it's 430bhp with it You won't get a Cayman R courtesy car, as they're an old model now. Most places are doing Boxsters or Caymans, or Golfs.
  14. It's more amazing that we all find it perfectly acceptable, and aren't rioting every day over it.
  15. Almost definitely a rear bearing I would imagine. For a track car, you'll 100% want bigger brakes than OEM, BMW had them criminally undersized.
  16. Thinking about it, it's more like having the choice of two girls: Both great in the sack, both identical under their clothes, but one wears skimpy clothes all the time whilst the other wears jeans and t-shirt. However, the latter one costs less to keep in those clothes and can also do the cooking
  17. But it's the exact same car, just less practical and more expensive. If I'm buying a shopping trolley car then I'm buying the cheapest one rather than the pretty one! Scirocco does look better though, no arguments here.
  18. No-one who owns a Z3M can accuse the E46 of looking dated!
  19. Must admit I was a bit surprised by how cheap it was too, only worry is the risk of total failure but then if that happened I'd just get a new drive and download everything again. Whilst it would be nice to change the drive internally like the PS4, this is a much easier solution and less chance of breaking anything!
  20. 'Bout bloody time too

    JAG-ATTAK

I suspect they are the OEM tyres, as they have the J marking on them. I think you can also get Contis with the J rating too, although exactly what ones I'm not sure.
  22. I'm guessing the aerial connector has fallen out of the back of the unit. Have you removed the console to check?
  23. If it's taxed, it must be insured. That was the change
