  1. Thanks guys! DCS don't sell any old that, and if you're not sure what you're after just give them a call: They're possibly the nicest and most helpful bunch of guys I've spoken to.
  2. Just read it, knew it! Nice write up too Daryl, looking good there matey and I approve of your choice of Evo car
  3. So in practicality, what would happen if you wait until he goes out then change the locks? Obviously he'd need his stuff back which would be packed neatly in boxes for him in a safe place, but really what would happen at that point? This isn't an area I'm familiar with so I'm genuinely curious. Would he be able to call on the police for immediate assistance, or go straight to the courts, or what? In theory I'm sure he has legal recourse, but reality can be a bit different.
  4. Now that's how a Nismo should look. Accentuate the shape, don't ruin it. Lovely looking car there fella
  5. It is an easy answer. You have a £25,000 sports coupe, parts aren't going to be peanuts. Sometimes you really just do need more money to buy things. Sad fact of life.
  6. Did anyone read the text, or just the headline? "The DVSA said drivers may instead be asked to focus on more realistic everyday manoeuvres, such as reversing out of a parking bay, or re-joining the flow of traffic from the side of a road." So yes they're CONSIDERING removing the three point turn (which I admit I'd like to see stay) and the reverse round a corner (who even does that?!), but instead they MAY put things in like reversing out of a bay (which would save all those scratches and dents you get in car parks) and rejoining the road (meaning you don't get someone pull out in front of you doing 20mph). Surely that is a good thing? Or do we really want the test to stay exactly the same without any thought to how driving is evolving over the years? Nobody wanted the theory test when it came in, there were comments made about people then not really concentrating on the actual driving bit, but I think we can all agree that it's now a success in terms of driving education.
  7. No. Just... No. Why do you think you need different suspension? What are you trying to achieve? The easy answer here is to double your budget and get a set of the BC Racing BR:RS springs and dampers. Cheap suspension just ruins a car, and tbh no-one's going to sell any aftermarket suspension for your budget unless it's shot. Also, you already have coilovers on the front
  8. Oh yeah, I hadn't even noticed Sorry if I've just put my foot in it! Anyway, I suspect that's pretty rapid to say the least...!
  9. Feck me, how young are you? I had mummy and daddy drive me around until I was 20, even though they'd bought me a car for my 17th First test was just before I turned 21, second test in March the following year. I only drove that mk4 Escort for a month before I went and bought a brand new Focus instead!
  10. Yeah, I was wondering if we'd heard about how that ended up at all. Did Abbey cough up for the damage?
  11. Have I missed what happened to the gearbox?
  12. Did my test in '00 and '01. I've probably reversed round a corner about 5 times since then. Three point turn is much more common, but a piece of cake. I'd rather they spent more time focusing on accelerating to the limit, or other things that new drivers take an age to do!
  13. I didn't do either manoeuvre on my driving test, so can't see it's any great loss. They're replacing them with other more common manoeuvres instead, which makes sense.
  14. Married on a Tuesday? You tight git If it gets you closer to the dream car, go for it
  15. Essentially just convert the entire cost including shipping from USD into GBP, and that's the bill you're looking at.

Well, nowhere else on the internet can I find that info, so for now I'm placing it firmly in the 'Not True' category. Given that most major European race teams use it, I would've thought they would be far from happy about it...
  17. I'd be up for it. I'd start in South Wales, one stop in North Wales, then one in the Highlands, then another in Northern England to finish (maybe a wild night out in Newcastle?). You could do it on a budget easy, call it £60 a night for a hotel then the rest on fuel and beer. Job's a carrot.
  18. I've not read my copy yet, but without even looking I bet it got four stars. Their scoring system is awful lately. If it's a super car it gets 5, if it's a junior supercar it gets 4.5, anything remotely decent gets a 4 and the average stuff gets a 3. They don't use 2 or 1, so there's no point.
  19. Well, take your mates then! Or just be more selective

Erm, that's not true. You cannot run coloured fluid in the US, but it's absolutely fine over here. Driftworks have it, or I could go and pick a load up from PSR in Stortford tomorrow morning. Did Monkfish say that?
  21. Subs issues came through today, you'll need to wait a week for the poverty copy
  22. I'd be walking now and considering myself lucky. I wouldn't want to be associated with something like that. Seriously mate, put a run together on here over a long weekend on the same route for the same budget, and I bet you'd have a better time.
  23. Next year I'm taking the day off and I'm just going to go and film these people. Must be amazing to watch such an atmosphere. Why the staff didn't just shut the tills and refuse to serve anyone who was acting like a tit, I don't know. Or they could've given out vouchers to people in the queue who wanted a TV to redeem, first come first serve.
  24. You get what you pay for and all that, I guess. Shame, but then I suppose that's why it's so cheap if they're not giving you half the stuff.
  25. Eeeep! That doesn't sound good at all.
