Option C) WHERE'S MY F***ING PRESENTS YOU TIGHT B*STARDS??!! I made a little joke of it when I did my groom speech, by saying that we were very grateful for the presents from those that did give us stuff, but that those who didn't really shouldn't worry about it as the gift list was still open for another week and they could still make a purchase at any time Got a few laughs, but I also got more presents as some people really did go back and buy us stuff!

No vote needed, I didn't wait for one and since it's my idea then I get to decide Start a new thread mate, perhaps the mods could lock this one and set it free, then we can all start afresh.

As good as the 350 is in the corners, it's a bit wobbly from the factory and you really need to do a bit to it to get it where I suspect you'd want it. Nothing major (light wheels, camber/toe arms, ARBs, and a good geo) but at the same time even if you've done all of that it's going to feel like a boat compared to either of yours. It's a sporty GT car, rather than a sports car that can do the GT thing. I loved mine, and I will get another, but I won't pretend that it's a chuckable little thing: That's what I have the MR2 for. And that doom and gloom aside, if you're after something that is different to what you have and want the big cruiser bruiser, I don't think you'll find anything with more personality or at a more reasonable price than an FI 350Z

I must be looking at different pictures to the rest of you. I've no doubt that it is a pretty colour, but the first pic is all washed out and the second one in shadow so it looks black. Get some proper pics taken in the sun up, man!

I would have no problem with that, and it would be a good thing for the noobs and those who didn't get a chance the first time to have a play Craig, you fancy organising it?

Depends. If you spend your life at road legal speeds (ish), then an FI Zed will definitely not feel anywhere near as quick as what you're used to. It'll also be so much heavier that it'll feel like a barge in the corners. Where big engined cars really start to show off is when you get over the ton, so whereas the 205 and the kit car (which one out of interest?) will start running out of puff near then, the 350Z will just be getting in it's stride. All relative of course, I'm sure that neither of your current cars feels like they're struggling at just 100mph! A standard 350Z can feel a bit slow, but it's not until you look down that you realise it's putting on speed very quickly. I've never driven an SC 305, but have driven a low power and high power turbocharged 350 but they both didn't feel monstrously quick below 60. Also, massive kudos for running light cars with big power

True, but I wasn't so much thinking about the audio gear as the environment. 80/20 rule and all that. -
With all due respect, you're not going to know what the car feels like unless you actually drive one. Any FI Zed will feel very quick, but the way the power is delivered may not be to your taste. I assume that you're after an SC setup specifically because of the power delivery, any way!

Depends on your ears I guess, but there's no way I could tell the difference between a lossless and a 256 song in the 911. On my home stereo absolutely, but in a car there's just too much external noise to be able to gain the benefits. -

Lossless audio is wasted in a car, unless you've gone to some extreme lengths or own a Rolls Royce. -
Are we really comparing an S4 to a 1L Festa?! Broadly speaking though I tend to agree, we need to figure out first of all exactly what the car will be used for and the must haves & must not haves. If we can get that sorted, then we can start offering proper advice: Anything before that point would be doing Craig a disservice. Looking specifically at that car, it'll certainly make some lovely noises and feel half decent in a straight line, however it'll feel incredibly dull and understeery in the corners. Not a problem as it wasn't designed to handle corners well, just worth bearing in mind as you mention 'fun'. Also 120k miles could be asking for big bills, as things start to fail. Okay, it's cheap enough so it's a fair sale, but you'd want a good £2K slush fund to fix and repair anything I think.

Did they have their glasses on? I'm kidding! The best Zed is a clean Zed without tat stuck on

It's bloody awful if you ask me. Joke physics, average graphics, duff AI. Each to their own though.

In fairness, they may not have seen the biker at first, and then when they realised they were too embarrassed to apologise and/or help. Most people are good, but some are always arseholes.

Above all though, ignore reviews. And ignore everyone on here who says X is better than Y. Including me! Use your own eyes, and trust yourself. Compare like for like using a source you like (I used Independance Day on BD for the blacks and Forza 3 on 360 for the fast stuff when I bought my last TV, and yes I took my own Xbox in!), and then figure out what TV you like the best. I ended up with a choice of a 55" Samsung LCD or a 65" LG plasma, and I don't care what people say about plasma as the LCD looked much better to me. Your own judgement is the best. Go with it.

I detest curved TVs with a passion. Unless you are sitting bang smack in the centre at exactly the right height, they make the picture appear like you're looking at the back of a spoon. Or Becky Adlington's face.
-
It's bloody awful. I really hope you didn't pay real money for it.
-
*brakes K Sports are okay, personally I'd look for a set of Brembos instead though.
-
Samsung or bust. Nothing else I've seen at that price range comes close. Be careful though, you may find LCD too different from plasma. if you're spending £2k on a telly, I would prioritise a future tech like 4K over a dead tech like 3D.

Car cruising ban in Black Country?!?!!!
Ekona replied to Adrian@TORQEN's topic in Off Topic Discussion
That's what I was getting at: I'm sure it's not all of the attendees, but a few of them. If their mates told them to stop arsing around, they probably would and then they wouldn't have this issue. Sadly, a few bad eggs have spoilt it for everyone now. -
I wouldn't go and watch an F1 race, but I'll be there for Silverstone and LM in '15.
