I stepped down years ago, essentially I felt I couldn't give the role the time it deserves. T'was good fun while it lasted

Well, thought I'd say it before someone else did Some people think it's just a matey buddy club, but it's really not: I was chosen despite never having met any of the Team at that time, nor actually having been to any events/meets either. If you're a sensible person who can devote the time to the role AND remember that sometimes you have to do what's right for the forum rather than what's right for your pal, you'll get a call at some point.

Secret handshakes and knowing winks Mods are selected based on nothing more than gut instinct really: A few names will get mentioned in the Team area, then everyone chimes in as to whether they think that person is suitable, then as long as no-one has any objections the invite goes out. Mods have to approve every for sale post so there's a lot there to do, on top of telling people like me off for calling people idiots when I think they're being idiots

Good to see the training course is as efficient as ever!

It's a stupid addition to a range that doesn't need expanding. It's oversized, overpriced and unnecessary. I'm getting mine Saturday.

Woah, that's a massive influx! More mods than members soon 'Gratz guys

I've seen a few vids where people have had issues, but then Skyrim was apparently broken on release but I never had a single issue there either. Maybe I'm just lucky I'd suggest the vast majority have a good experience with Bethesda games, rather than the minority. They're never perfect, but for me I'd take a flawed genius game over a bug-free average one.

No, I genuinely hate the FF games. They're slow, clunky, confusing: Just a mess really. That said, I'm aware they're actually brilliant games and it's just a personal thing, so very much like TLOU which I also consider to be brilliant but I don't like.

I've had no random popups like that, no slowdown on scoping either. What platform?

I played the one that was on the PS1, the really big one. It was sodding awful, one of the worst experiences of my life and I've not touched them since. Secret Of Mana, now there's a classic game...

No bugs on mine, barring a slight hiccup with some subtitles. No FPS issues either yet. Combat is fine (I didn't think I'd like the fact that VATS no longer stops time, but actually it works fine and does make more sense), voice acting from the main character is brilliant to have now, and the whole feel and look of the game is immense. The crafting stuff is awkward, but I've got it figured out now so it's okay. It's immense. It's not perfect, but then no game is.

Play 3 was always the weakest of the units sadly, two Play 1s were a significant improvement over the Play 3. Hopefully when the new range comes out, they'll remedy this as it's a great price point for the 3 to sit at.

Fallout 4. GOTY That is all.

Look at it this way: Do they spend hours trying to figure out a way to be precise about what defines a workplace, costing the taxpayer a fortune, or do they just make it a bit obtuse on the basis no-ones ever going to be prosecuted for it? Of course banning vaping at home is silly, but for the workplace it's a good idea and this is the easiest way to achieve it.
-
Whilst I agree with the anger of it, tbh who cares? I'd much rather they introduced the law that covered all workplaces in the basis that it's impossible to police at hone, as such it doesn't matter if it's covered or not.

I'm just going to quote myself here, so I can point this thread out when the next person comes on complains that I only ever knock the 350.

Maserati Granturismo, Aston Vantage or ...... Decision P8

Sorry, but thats a ridiculous statement - even from the cars mentioned in this thread an M6, Maserati, 911 and a Mustang are all totally different experiences, even my current 4 seater is capable of performance very similar to a GTR but delivers it in a totally different way. You dont have to drive everywhere at 10/10ths either ......... which is where the GTR falls down for me, its doesnt feel special when doing 45 mph like a Maserati does. ^^^This, in bucketloads. Anyone who thinks that having driven a fast car makes other cars seem rubbish is talking bobbins. The F12 is about as fast a road car as you're likely to reasonably have a chance of driving, and I can promise you that in no way do I feel hard done by when I drive our 182 now. In fact, there's many times I'd rather take the 182 than either my 645 or my old 911, despite being nowhere near as fast. I know, that's not exactly what you were saying and I've exaggerated the point for effect so I apologise for that, but the point stands. The AMV8 just looks dated to me now. The Maser is still a head turner, and has a Ferrari V8. Given they're both fragile things, and neither are cutting edge in terms of dynamics, I couldn't look further than the Maser. -
Do you mean Sonos? As in the Play 1? Yes, it's very good, but really you want a couple of them to give you the stereo imaging, and at that point you're better off chucking another £100 at the solution and getting the new Play 5, which is a deeply impressive piece of kit at any price level. However, if you're happy with mono and that's where the budget is, then I wouldn't look any further. The wifi is pretty good on it too, so you shouldn't need to worry about range too much and the app itself is excellent.

There's no 'right' answer to this. The whole point of something like the KWv3s is that they give you the ability to tune the suspension how YOU want. What I would do is set your ride height as you want it but 5mm higher to account for settling, then stick all dampers in their middle positions. From there, you can then start adjusting the fronts as required, then move to the rears. As a general guide, you'll probably find you want the fronts approx 10% stiffer than the rears. Set compression first, then rebound.
