Number plates look rubbish, end of. No-one has ever done anything to a plate ever which made everyone turn around and go "Ooh, that number plate looks amazing, what a brilliant idea!". All doing anything different does is draw your eyes to the fact the number plate exists, and looks crap. As such, stick a cheapy 100% legal set on there and be done with it. Make people notice the car, not the plate.

I would, unless you want to be chopping and changing the cat once a year. Some people do (I did with my MX-5) so always an option.

Lol not at all, it'll be bloody obvious to the tester that it's a testpipe and not a cat! All the simulator will be is either a resistor in the O2 sensor wire, or an extender to move the sensor out of the gasflow. It'll fool the ECU, but it won't fool someone looking at it nor the MOT sniffers.

Same as any exhaust, if it has a cat then you'll be fine (as long as it's a decent one that does actually filter the nasties), if no cat then it's an automatic fail.

10 is the best OS I've ever used. 7 is great, but 10 improves in every single area.

Absolutely. Thing is, I had zero plans to start gaming again when I bought this PC (indeed, it was an emergency purchase as the other one started being a knob and resetting itself every 5 mins) so didn't even consider it. If I'd bought something like a Titan then I'd probably have thought to check dimensions, but a sodding 980 should really be fitting any full size case these days. However, it was nothing a pair of tin snips, some duct tape and packaging foam couldn't sort out

I happily switch between the two without issue. I've a Win10 laptop at work, an Win10 PC at home, an iMac for Jo, and we use iPhones & iPads when on the go. Really, there's very little in it any more, and both have their good bits and bad bits. The bad bits on both are so few though, I'd go with whatever is cheaper and 'feels' better. Surface Pro isn't a cheap bit of kit any more either though, however as you say it has the benefit of using a proper OS so I see no reason not to go that way.

You really would want all three. 918 as the every day, FLF as the weekend toy, P1 for the track. Make me choose just one and I'll take the Ferrari though. It's the ugliest, but I couldn't pick a V8 over that V12.

Protip: When buying a new gfx card, especially a powerful one, do check to make sure it fits your case first.

Yeah, I very much doubt that GT3 is being driven by a pro who knows the track, as there's plenty of places his line and entry speed is wrong and you can see the PSM save him. Still a better driver than I am though! I think that just shows how good the 991 GT3 actually is, that it's equal footing with a 4WD car with more horsepower
