  1. See, if more 20 year olds drove Jags, they'd get away with drink driving far more often!
  2. Do people generally drink that much then? I mean, I'll have a glass of wine with dinner 2 or 3 times a week, and maybe a proper session once every 4 months with friends, but that's about it. Certainly nothing I'd ever consider heavy, like having a bottle of wine every night or going out on a bender all weekend.
  3. Nope. Everything in moderation, including moderation. I personally think, and I don't mean this specifically at you or as an insult at all mate, that if people start needing to quit something altogether then they were probably at the point where they were going to have a real problem with it. Applies equally to drinking as it does to smoking or drugs or masturbation, or whatever.
  4. I was banking on no-one here having one of those
  5. So you turned her the wrong way then... ;)
  6. Great boobs, and yeah they're filthy as hell: The stories she told me of the farmer's parties would've made Caligula blush!
  7. I remember dating a girl once who didn't give a toss about how much she drank before getting behind the wheel. She was a Young Farmer, and I guess that kind of thing is okay when you own all the land on which you're getting tanked up, but I just couldn't fathom it and it put me right off straight away. Bloody morals, cost me a bunk up
  8. There shouldn't be any difference at all, if it's not mapped for it. Any difference will be down to weather conditions rather than swapping between 97 and 99, or maybe even just wishful thinking!
  9. Is that not £19.50 each for the HR ? Ooh you're right, I was looking at the wrong bit of text on there. Serves me right for not checking and just assuming it'd be as it was when I bought the Clio some the other day. Both are actually priced per plug! http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Nissan_350Z_3.5_2004/p/car-parts/engine-parts/ignition1/spark-plug/?408771120&1&6d35c91ce6a2296ca13068f679627a9b1788230a&000301 is the correct link for a single DE plug, nowt better on the HR though.
  10. *LINKS REMOVED TO STOP CONFUSION* *ALSO BECAUSE I'M A KNOB AND DIDN'T READ PROPERLY* All six for £19.50. Don't waste your money on super wonderful magic fairy dust plugs, no need for them. *EDIT* That's for an HR. That's for the DE, £13.24.
  11. It really doesn't. Unless the ECU is mapped for it, then you can put in whatever you want and it won't make the blindest bit of difference. Of course, you can run more boost or advance the timing if you're running 105 for example, but again that just reinforces the point that it's all about the mapping. Standard, FI or engine swap, you won't see the difference unless mapped. If you have to run 99 because you get substantial knock on 97, then I'd be having a strong word with the tuner personally, For example, my MR2 runs as happily on 97 as it does on 99, and I notice more difference in the power when the temp drops than I do on any fuel I put in.
  12. I've only just put two and two together, and figured out you're the same Linus27 from SELOC! Having just picked PCars for the PC up as well, I don't suppose you've any recommendations as to where to download decent steering wheel calibration settings + car setups from by any chance? I'm using a Thrustmaster TX wheel.
  13. How much info do you want?! Your car will not do more than 6500 rpm safely. You cannot EVER do more than that without major engine work. Just because the speedo says 180mph, doesn't mean your car can do that either
  14. No, it doesn't. The rev counter might, but the engine doesn't.
  15. Erm, no. Just no. It's there for a reason. Unless you've strengthened your engine, you need it right where it is.
  16. Mk4 Escort 1.3L Bonus. My first ever car, a 17th birthday present from my lovely parents.
  17. Can a mod please edit the title, my OCD can't take the rogue apostrophe any more
  18. It makes absolutely no sodding difference whether you use 97, 99 or 105 unless you've specifically mapped for it. As long as the fuel is made to the correct BS, and they all are, then that's all that matters. The 350/370 wasn't made in the 1960s, so it'll be fine
  19. For those of you that watch Eastenders, does your vagina twinge in excitement when it's on?
  20. MPSS will do about 50% more mileage, like for like driving. Unless the alternative is half the price, it's always more cost effective to buy the MPSS. The fact they stick like sh*t to a blanket and have masses of feel too is just a nice bonus.
  21. I was going to answer, but then I had something better to do.
  22. Set of 888s and a trackday.
