  1. Probably the latter. FWIW I believe the problem was massively overstated, as I've seen precious few Revups with this issue. Mine never suffered either. I'm not saying it doesn't exist, just that it's not as large a percentage as we might think.
  2. Oh I know this feeling only too well Drive down there and sit there until it's done. It's the only way. Anything else you do will take you past the threshold limit of this week and then you're stuffed. Ring the surgery, tell them you're coming down and expect the form to be signed. Legally it's not worth anything, as you could only sue for the cost of the signed letter not for anything related to it.
  3. I assumed it was £7K for the pair. It is, right?
  4. Exactly why I'm avoiding them I hate hard games. I play everything I can on Easy if I get the choice, as I want to be able to enjoy myself and relax rather than stress and get irritated by cheating AI or me just being rubbish. I play for the story as much as I do the action.
  5. Have to say, as much as there's a bunch of times I can imagine myself using a dislike button on here, it's not a feature I think would do anything other than harm this community.
  6. Actually, I played 3 before I did 1 or 2. I only bought 1&2 because of how f*cking amazing 3 was. Reach was also awesome, but Odious Tea was garbage.
  7. They don't need to be short campaigns though: Look at Goldeneye, it's a mllionty year old game that had loads of extra bits to do on the harder levels. Same with Perfect Dark. Halo 3 was an incredibly long game, certainly I didn't smash that out in two days like I could with Halo 5 if it's only 8 hours long. If you're going to make a game short, make it brilliant. CoD4 had the sniper level and the nuclear level, both of which were utterly stunning in execution. Lend me a copy of Halo 4 then!
  8. Pretty sure you would, you'd just have swerved left to avoid him rather than braking in a straight line. Also, you'd have slowed down to expect him to do something stupid, whereas the car just kept ploughing on at the same speed regardless.
  9. The ragtop is fugly with the roof up though. That's why I always had the roof down on mine, regardless of rain or snow!
  10. I never really got on with R6V2, it was good but I vastly preferred the first game. That was one of my all-time favourite 360 games, so much so that it was one of the few I kept when I traded the other 40 or games I had in. I used to buy every single FPS game I could get my hands on back in the day, but now unless they're something very special they just leave me a bit cold. Most of them are twitch shooters which I don't get on much with. Dishonored gets a special mention for being technically an FPS, but also being very RPG in nature and the combination was perfect. Halo 1-3 and Reach were brilliant, I missed out on 4, and I do want to play 5 but the campaign isn't supposed to be very long this time. I don't really want to pay £50 for 8 hours game time, not when I'm still at 33% on MGSV which now runs to nearly 80 hours for the same £50.
  11. I actually really like the 'Like' button on here. Plenty of times I read a post and think "Ooh, that's a good post!" but just posting a smiley or a one word response seems an awful lot of effort when I can just click a button and let the poster know I think their post is great. I probably give more feedback using that than I ever did before we had it.
  12. Which is probably what they'd do if they were looking at a claim of £500K if you cripple a baby for life. Couple of grand spent investigating is nothing, and then they get to come after you for that £500K... It's no different to driving the Ring, you're uninsured there too and your insurer will happily come after you for the costs if you have an accident.
  13. You'll fit in either, but I would never buy a seat without sitting in it. I was at Corbeau the other week, and tried out all of their seats looking for a replacement for the BMW. Even seats that had the same dimensions according to the brochure felt massively different in real life, to the point where I wouldn't even consider one of them in the slightest as it felt loose and baggy.
  14. FFS PPOD & JUSTTHEJEDI: STOP WITH THE SPOILERS! PUT YOUR COMMENTS IN SPOILER TAGS PLEASE
  15. "Give me another series, you sh*t!" I miss AP so hard
  16. MPSS would suit you sir. Also, I demand pics of the 911!

    which tyres?

Whilst I'm sure that's actually not half as exciting as you made it sound, I think that sounds like a pretty interesting career Thanks for that, appreciated
  18. Not a one liner, but... *smack* Urghhh... *smack* Urghhh... *smack* Urghhh... *smack* Urghhh... *smack* Urghhh... etc.
  19. S1 Elises were £9K a few years back, I think that was the bottom end of those. S1 Exiges never really got below £18K, and are more than that now. S2 111R is where my money would go, more than good enough with a solid engine but things like working AC.
  20. I still reckon you made the right call there, VX over S15 anyday, even if just to say you've done it.
  21. Get a can of spray paint and paint yours. And throw that nasty locking wheel nut away, just put regular nuts on there.
