As long as you get EVERYTHING in writing and aren't afraid of a battle including court when things go wrong, I'd buy from them. The consumer has a hell of a lot of power these days, it's just that most fail to get the correct evidence or follow the correct procedures that allows J17 to allegedly get away with the things they do.

Much easier than you think, although it flummoxed me first too!

Oh it does, but you know for some upgrades you need a Cybernetics Specialist or a Heavy Armour Specialist? Well, some of those guys are only rated D or E, so if you haven't locked them in then BOOM they disappear when you auto-sort. Which means you then cannot get that upgrade. Sure, you can probably find other ones by doing the side op again, but who the hell really wants to?

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/nov/04/bmw-ad-banned-3-series That's the detail there, from the Guardian. Whilst it's irritating, do you know what annoys me more? The comments from the ASA who said “We considered that the handling capability of the vehicle had not been communicated in a clear context of safety, which was a requirement of the code. We told BMW to ensure that future ads must not demonstrate the handling characteristic of a vehicle except in a clear context of safety, and that reference to this must not suggest excitement, aggression or competitiveness.†So hang on, even the ASA code specifically states that you can only show a car has good handling if it demonstrates that handling only exists because it's safe?! What kind of left wing utter bobbins is that?!?! Jeeeeesus. Frickin' nanny state. Heaven forbid a manufacturer should show a car actually being fun!

So Annoyed & Disgusted in some Low Life Traders!!
Ekona replied to Easty's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Look, truth is no-one has any idea what has happened. Easty has been spun a load of lines from Goodridge which may or may not be true, but if no-one will name names then this is utterly pointless. All it's done is drag peoples' names into the mud for zero reason, and besides which the original GB didn't even have 20 names in the first place. That said, it has been bloody entertaining, so that's always welcome! -

Yeah, I don't get it at all. It doesn't make any sense for anyone to get angsty. -

Oh come on, tedious at best. You know damn well it was Tarmac you were trying to refer to, as it was very obvious. If it genuinely wasn't, then send me a PM with who you were referring to and I'll post up a full and public apology here. No complaints if I've got the wrong end, but given the history between Adrian and Chris plus the paving road comment, I thought it was very obvious. -

Come on Dave, I thought more of you than that. You might as well just accuse Tarmac up front, rather than a sly dig from the side. Regardless of who it is, I'd like to hear the story from the other side, I really would. Not saying that Easty is making anything up (why would he?), I'd just love to hear how the conversation went. -

So just to be clear, as the original post isn't, is this what happened: You organised a GB with Goodridge directly (or someone else) A Trader on here gets wind of this, then moans to Goodridge about it because they feel they're losing sales Goodridge then starts getting itchy feet as his customers (i.e. the Trader in question) is getting the hump Correct? -
It's better looking too, but the view over the nose is horrendous and it's so bloody hard to place the nose. Doesn't handle anywhere near as good either, but for a general cruiser road car I think I'd probably look at the 35i too.

Think I'm 35% now, only about 1M cash (but I spend a lot on upgrades), Heroism looks similar to your numbers and Espionage level I have no idea. Now I've figured out that when you set the game to auto-manage your men it can ditch the specialist guys you get from the Side Ops, I'm through with this. No more playing for me, I'm now waiting for Fallout 4. I'd only just unlocked the FOB stuff too, which appears to be an absolute crock.

Lies!! On both points. To the OP; need? No. Your wheels will work perfectly well without spacers. Yeah, looks like I turned out to be right again. Y'know, like always

No, that was my exact point all along. I'd even said it twice already in this thread!

One of the all-time classic BMW engines vs a generic Jap V6 that's always been a bit wheezy. Perfectly proportioned breadvan vs aggressive coupe that looks better in stock form than the Nismo. Genuine sports coupe vs sporty grand tourer (that's not a dig, look at what I drive!). Bland but quality interior vs whizzy messy mix of analogue & digital. One where values can only go one way vs one where values are still dropping slowly. Handling I can't really comment on as I've never driven a proper Z4MC only the ragtop, but assuming it's vaguely similar then it's not even close: The BMW has a delicacy and a balance that the 370 will never have. Between the two, I couldn't pick the 370 unless you're one of those bonkers people that just *has* to have a Jap car. Z4MC is worth it for the engine alone.

I don't buy the whole 'driving down the price' argument, I've never seen anyone do that on here. What I have seen is a bunch of enthusiasts who live in the real world, and accept their cars aren't worth a billionty pounds forever. It's a very rare thing to find in owners' clubs, and it's very refreshing to see. It's a good thing!

18"s, no question. It's night and day when you move from heavy wheels to light ones, plus tyres are considerably cheaper too!
-
No. But everyone will say yes, so I'm probably wrong.
-
Tin foil hat with that, sir? They might ask a couple of neighbours to see if the car is actually kept at the address, but otherwise it's not even an issue as long as you're telling the truth. So do you actually, honestly think that they won't pay out if the car is stolen from any other address other than the registered one?! I mean, you don't and you're only trolling me, right?

Meant to post some pics in this thread over the weekend, totally forgot! Posting here now so I don't forget again. But yeah, I've got a bunch of guitars, a couple of basses, and an electric drum kit in the man cave. Nothing super expensive or fancy, but enough to keep me occupied.

Again, if prices are realistic then those comments don't get posted. In the case of Camy's thread, the prices weren't realistic so everyone told Camy that. The prices were then changed to something that was much more realistic, which means that both cars for sale are now bang-on the money. Camy comes out of it having a 100% better chance of selling the cars, so everyone's a winner. It's not just cars: Parts, random items, everything benefits from having sensible prices. If I turn around and manage to sell half an apple for £100 just because I manage to find the one gullible idiot who has no idea what half an apple is worth, that doesn't make it a good thing for the apple owning community. It just means that someone else is going to tell him that he paid well over the odds, and that guy will resent not being told the truth in the first place.
