Nothing car related for me this weekend. I'm currently putting after sun on my sunburn! I booked 5 days in Majorca back in January and I'm glad I did now with the shite uk weather! I spent 4 hours on the beach today in this 23 degree weather... And got burnt to a crisp.

I've read that you can man handle them out from underneath the car, if you can unscrew them from the top first. Never managed this myself though, but i would try again this way as it's a pain in the arse to get the rear bumper off.

Agreed. If you've got an air freshener on your rear view mirror that is moving around slightly this could be the cause.... or you might have a bug trapped inside like a fly or a moth etc.

Well perhaps imports have low mileage because if somebody is going to the trouble of importing a car, then they are a more discerning buyer with a very specific set of requirements? i.e. Why bother importing a car with higher mileage...?

I've got to say, this thread feels like it is in pretty bad taste to me, tainting all low-mileage JDM cars as being clocked. :thumbdown:

A colleague of mine at work who has a heavily modded impreza Sti Spec C had his car Plati-dipped in Matt Black over Christmas. In terms of the quality of the job - it looks alright. However there's no getting away from the fact that it looks a but crap. It cheapens the car somehow, and a few non-car people have mentioned how @*!# it looks and asked why the hell he would do that. Before i saw his car, i would have considered it on one of my cars. After i've seen it, im pretty sure i now wouldnt.
