  1. were both fronts worn the same ? if not it suggests a problem, if that is down to the alignment it is much too aggressive
  2. have you noticed how much the colour changes with the light ? no two pics look the same anyhoo... at the evo
  3. Have you tried filling the bottle with washer fluid instead
  4. Not heard of it being a known issue Dave The light doubles as a fluid level alert aswell as the handbrake
  5. Have you tried moving the handbrake side to side when it's off to see if the light flickers ? Suggesting a lose connection Would double check the fluid though

  9. +1 fiction plate disintergrated or pressure plate fubar, wouldn't run it or try as you might damage the flywheel Another poss is the clutch pedal fork has broken but you would prob feel that on the pedal If it was the fork he would not start it in gear (or unlikely) I would guess your first assumptions the clutch plate has split from the friction material so no drive transferred. The other possibility is the primary shaft snapped but I doubt it is that. Hope you get it sorted +1 fiction plate disintergrated or pressure plate fubar, wouldn't run it or try as you might damage the flywheel Another poss is the clutch pedal fork has broken but you would prob feel that on the pedal If it was the fork he would not start it in gear (or unlikely) I would guess your first assumptions the clutch plate has split from the friction material so no drive transferred. Engine oil

Oil loss has to be leak or burn, valve guide wear, valve stem oil seals, head gasket, piston rings, bore wear etc etc Stick you're finger in the tail pipes, is one wetter than the other ? You would expect to see smoke on hard acceleration or start up or moving off after idling for a while if it's burning
