Have to say the Merc is not on the top of my list of cars to own. More of an Audi lover than a Merc or BMW man myself

Nice car. Love the colour. Hope you can live with the steering wheel being on the wrong side. If it isn't a daily drive should be fine. Orange indicator lenses look better than clear ones on this car IMO

I think I am just getting old...................

Check out Costco if you have one nearby and you know someone who is a member. Michelin trained technicians and usually they offer a competive price on their tyres. Nitrogen fill them as well as standard. Job done

Have a polite word with the tyre fitter before he touches your car and if he goes near it with any air wrench stop him. I always stand by the fitter and have a chat with him. Never had a problem. Get them on your side. Any tyre fitting outlet that tells you to take a seat in the waiting area due to health and safety reasons just walk away from before they go near your car.

Some people nowerdays just don't care. You really do have to wonder if they have a brain at all. Hope you get it sorted.

As has already been said he may have done his own servicing. I do all my own servicing wherever possible. He should have at least had the oil changed yearly/ brake fluid and coolant every few years minimum. You could have a bargain or a headache. If you really like it pay for a once over by the AA or RAC.
