  1. Hi, I drove both before making a decision. The decision you come to is a very personal thing. I went for the Roadster and am very happy with the decision. If I were you, have a word with your local Nissan Dealer and see if you can borrow a Roadster for a weekend. December is a bad month for car sales so go in and ask then. I do not think they will be selling many £30k cars just before Christmas. Just an idea.
  2. I have stopped eating my tea.....................suddenly I feel ill I have stumbled across a 'Rocky Horror Show' Tribute site? Hmmmmmm.................this has given me an idea...................you can see where I am going with this (I know you can Jane )..................how about the Burnham on Sea Meet is in fancy dress........................you never know someone could find .........................
  3. Don't think Azure goes with bloodshot Are you speaking from experience here?
  4. Ummmm, hard one this.............could your eyes be blue? Like the blue ragtop. Guess what.........snap! Cheers for now.
  5. Nice one 350Znismo. All we need now is a bit of good November weather. Here's hoping.
  6. LOL, but she still keeps coming back for more chaps! You know what they say about women and bad boys........ well that rules me out, I'm an angel you know. A little Cherub! Hey, I have started something here! Can we read something into your Forum Name...'Blue'lady???? Ok so it is probably because you have a blue car............or could I be wrong? We have quite a few people interested now. Looking good.
  7. Can you get this meet put onto the calender? If you could suggest a meeting place that would be good. choptop.
  8. Great advice. Better option than the Edge Sport (I would say) is to contact Opie Oils, I've just ordered from Guy there and got 5l for £38.99 delivered (with forum discount) Sounds a good deal from Opie Oil's.
  9. Dear 350Znismo, As your brother lives there, maybe you (or he) could suggest a place to meet up in Burnham? If we said 12.00 o'clock midday it will give a chance for people coming from further a field to get there and maybe we could have a bite to eat as well. Let me know if you can. Cheers. choptop.
  10. Dear WoREoD, Let us see how many we could get interested for a meet on Saturday 4th November at Burnham on Sea. If anyone wants to come along reply to this posting. choptop
  11. Clue is in the title Richard Hammond's nickname is 'The Hamster'......................ok, i've just got a sick mind!
  12. Castrol recommend Edge Sport 0w-40w over their Magnetec Range as it has to comply with the oil spec laid down by Nissan. However at £36 for 4 litres (so you will have to buy another litre for an oil and filter change) it is tad expensive. Halfords recommend their 5w-40w as it is fully synthetic and meets Nissan's spec. Just one point though. If the car is new, the engine does need to 'bed in' and it is better to have a semi synthetic oil for the first 3k miles to allow this to happen. Use Fully synthetic early on and the engine never quite reaches it 'full potential'. No matter what anyone says, change your engine oil and filter after the first 1500 miles. Any swarf etc left in the engine is got rid of. Lots of new engines are run in on a 'bedding in oil' (Mildly abrasive) at the factory. As we have alloy lumps do not know in the case of our Z's. Don't forget to exchange it for a Nissan OEM Filter if the car is within it's warranty period just in case there is a problem and they put it down to using non OEM parts. i.e Get out clause and hence to warranty. Hope this helps.
  13. But that car in the video is not KITT , the one in the video is right hand drive , americans are left hand drive. Accept no substitute He got to No.1 with the song in Austria and they had to put a video together very quick. Th only 'Kit look a like' car they could get was an Aussie one, hence why it is right hand drive. I am full of useless crap like that. Pint of cider anyone?
  14. Hi Glen and Bluelady, How about a meet up then? We could meet up somewhere half way. What about Burnham on Sea? Let me know what you both think. choptop
